the location, the hot bath, the comfortable beds and pillows. the staff were exceptional. the view of the temple/pergola on the island was beautiful. the contrast of the peace & quiet & across the bay Nippon steel. the fishing boats and the town itself - the narrow streets , the gardens, the houses & architecture
the meals were huge. now know i don’t like octopus or abalone. the second dinner was the best - waggu with rice delicious
