Incredibly friendly host who always made sure I had breakfast, helped me with getting my laundry done and gave a clean, comfortable and well located room close to the entry of the Medina.

A little hard to find by Google Maps or Apple, there’s a staircase going down on the right side of the street. It’s a few turns after that, look for the sides.

A really pleasant stay. The host was genuinely kind and helpful — always willing to assist with whatever I needed, which I appreciated a lot as a solo traveler. The room was clean and had everything necessary. Simple but comfortable. Would recommend.

The host picked us up when we were struggling to find the place. He even gave us a double room despite the fact that we booked single rooms. The location is very close to the Blue Gate, which is great.

I don’t think it’s worth the money, even though the location is good. There is a bad smell in the riad, which you notice immediately at the entrance. One of the two rooms we stayed in had a particularly strong odor. The host also wasn’t very approachable. After I accidentally left the light on once when we went out, you could clearly feel that he was angry. We were only provided with one towel per person for three nights, so we ended up using wet towels most of the time. The riad is very dark since it is completely enclosed, so you can’t tell whether it’s day or night, which can feel depressing—though this may be a matter of personal taste. Last but not least, the blankets have no covers, meaning all guests use the same blankets. I’ll leave the condition of those to your imagination.
