Excellent location. Welcoming friendly staff who will go out their way to help you. Make sure that you’re stay is enjoyable. Dave, the owner, goes above and beyond to ensure he meets with all guests and to connect other travellers.
The hostel has a security guard on site at all times. Felt safe at all times. I was paying in USD and the staff always ensured that I got the correct change back in shillings.
The bonfire was great. A cool way to meet people from all over the world who are staying there.

This wasn’t my first stay at Drifters Hostel in Paje, and that’s a good indication of how much I enjoy staying here. I spent two nights this time and once again had a great experience. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, the staff are welcoming and helpful, and the location is perfect for enjoying Paje and the beach. For a budget friendly hostel, I am impressed that they have a powered generator, which makes a big difference during power outages. Great value for money, and I will definitely stay here again.

Stunning location. Really cute properties. Gorgeous staff.
Mosquito nets were full of holes and we were eaten alive. Staff were very sympathetic but I checked out early.
