About this apartment rental
The apartment is very large, about 100 square meters.
It is located in a vibrant and lively neighborhood, but the rooms are in the back and are quiet enough. It is facing a nice square which gives access to the sea boardwalk.
You are a 10 minute walk to the center and 5 minutes to the promenade along the sea side.
The apartment consists of a spacious and bright double room with a sofa, a kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and window. Ideal for enjoying the sea and walks on the promenade.
The neighborhood is safe, you can walk without problems alone both day and night. Nearby there are many shops.
If you cross the square there is a Coop supermarket, a pizzeria around the corner, a pharmacy not far away, the bakery and the post office are close. There are also restaurants and clubs to suit all tastes.
I recommend:
The local pie of chickpeas (try it! it is called "Torta") at Pizzeria Da Cecco in via dei Cavalletti or Pizzeria I 4 Canti at corso Mazzini corner Piazza Mazzini.
The natural ice cream, like homemade, at Gelateria Caprilli at corner viale Italia - via dei Funaioli.
A "Ponce" at Bar Civili in via del Vigna, a historic gathering place equal to 50 years ago.
In the summer from Thursday to Sunday you can take fried fish from Jhonny Paranza, the kiosk in the square.
PARKING:
"Porta a Mare" 100 meters from the apartment, open from 07:00 to 01:00, out until 04:00, cost € 0. 50 the first two hours, € 1. 00 each subsequent hour.
Parking in Piazza Mazzini is not free (first hour 1 €, second 1.50 €, third 2 €, after 3 € / hour), it is free only in the night after 21:00 last 8:00.
You can park for free in via Edda Fagni in front of Benetti Shipyard.
SEA - in a few minutes by bus or car you can reach the cliffs south of the city, recommended the beach of Cala del Leone, cliffs of Calignaia or the cliffs called Scogli Piatti. In town the promenade along seaside is ideal for long walks.

There are no special rules to be respected. I believe in respect between people. A clear and direct communication, without any embarrassment is the only requirement for a good relationship between people who meet for the first time. Please do NOT SMOKE in the house and NOT TO BRING PETS.

Gabriele is an amazing host! My adult daughters stayed at his apartment during their first trip to Italy. Gabriele had a map for them of notable places to see while they were there and made them feel at home. Could not have asked for a better host!
