The owner was super helpful, arranging scooter rental, picking me up from the airport, and recommending restaurants and activities. The hotel was quiet and the hot water in the shower was perfect.
The bed, like most in Taiwan, was harder than I prefer.

I thought that the place was well maintained, the basic necessities were there including towels, toothbrush paste etc, comb, mini fridge, closet, and outlets close to bed. The internet was also pretty good there. The noise level in the neighborhood was also at a respectable level.
For our room in the second floor, the paint was chipping on the wall. That was the main downside. The provided towel was inside the travel pack, which made it very flimsy compared with normal hotel towels.
