Good breakfast. Nice people running it - very helpful. Central. Charming old building.
It was exceptionally hot weather (40deg) and the room was a little hot at night. Aircon would have been good, but at least these old houses don’t get as hot as modern ones.

It is a cool quiet oasis in a lively little town. It is within easy - and pleasant- walking distance from the museums and restaurants and the Vezere path. Breakfast / evenings under the tall trees in the garden by the Beune, with birds and roses and a friendly cat was our favorite activity. Proprietors went out of their way to meet our needs.
Note there is no elevator. Parking immediately at the hotel is at a premium, but there is free parking nearby.

Very friendly and helpful service
Actually getting to the hotel proved slightly challenging as sat nav directed us to the restaurant parking space (which was difficult to access and very limited) rather than the main hotel's main car park. Better signage would have helped.
