Amazing location, lots of activities, kids and family friendly, great view of the sunset, great staff, great food. Highly recommend.

I liked the location and the hospitality from the staff. Not much else.

- I write this review after having stayed one night at Niraamaya and 2 nights at another resort nearby (similar price range). Niraamaya was a disappointment, while the other resort was much better and felt better value for money - Paid 16-17k for one night for the superior lake view room - not worth the price at all unfortunately - photo of the view - obstructed by curtains - such a stupid design for a premium room category - Subpar plumbing fixtures in the bathroom - Electricity kept tripping multiple times (5 times within an hour at one point) which kept resetting the wifi and even the water pump because water would pause for a minute in the taps - 8am in the morning there was a guy running a loud leaf blower in the garden area which was extremely noisy and woke us up - Restaurant food orders took 30-35 mins on average to arrive, even a simple masala omelette took 25 mins - Quality and taste of food pretty average and these dishes were not cheap - Good location and very kind and hospitable people but overall the upkeep and facilities of the resort did not match up to the cost
