Nice big house and with huge garden in the heart of Ardennes.

Very nice large house with a huge garden located in a lovely location of the Ardennes. The house is fully equipped and better looking than in the pictures available on Booking.com . Property easy to find, house in a perfect shape with all appliances working well. Perfect for children with plenty of equipment provided and lots of space. Huge rooms, high ceilings, lots of chairs and comfy sofas to relax. The house was perfectly clean and the heating and hot water were very effective. There is a cemetery next to the house but it did not bother us,

Bed sheets and towels are provided at an extra charge as indicated. However, what it was not clear is that also toilet papers and other consumables are not provided (we had some as left overs from previous guests maybe). The check-in procedure is cumbersome. After booking, the company managing the house will ask to register on their website, pay a 250 EUR deposit through their system, fill-in papers, collect the keys at their reception which is 20 minutes drive from the property and the most annoying thing is that you also have to return the keys at the reception when leaving. First time I ever experience this with a rental, electricity is not included and you have to note the Kw from the meter when checking in and out. The company will then pay back the deposit minus the electricity consumption but it seems they will take 4 weeks to do that which is ridiculously long time. Papers for instructions inside the house (use of the tv, etc) are only available in Dutch.

Prima huis

De tuin en de ruimte. De hoeveelheid slaapkamers. Een hele mooie en fijne plek om met een grote groep te zijn.

Het huis en omgeving is prima! Echter het ophalen en ook weer inleveren van de sleutel op bijna 30 minuten van het huis is erg vervelend. Vooral het ophalen, wachten tot je aan de beurt bent is geen fijn begin van de vakantie. En het terugbetalen van de borg (250€) duurt een stuk langer dan de beloofde 14 dagen. We zijn inmiddels 18 dagen verder, en nog geen borg retour. Ook geen bericht over het hoe en waarom. Alles behalve klantvriendelijk.

Ruime, rolstoeltoegankelijke woning! Leuke tuin!

De plaats om de sleutel op te halen is op 20 minuten rijden van het huis. Dat is niet zo comfortabel. Kan dat niet opgelost worden met een kluisje met een cijferslot?
