Everything was perfect

There was nothing that I did not like all was perfect

Nice, location as it was walkable to all sites and restaurants. Metro was also close if needed. Bus stops out front. AC worked well and apartment was spacious.

Black out curtains or shutters for windows would have been nice.

The location is good - a block from the Amphitheater and easy walk to the main square - and there is lots of space. Nice to have a large bathroom and huge shower.

The place shows its age. A broken window in the shower, broken tiles on the stairs up to the door. The clothes drying rack was broken, and the shower tile needs a serious cleaning around the corners. A bit noisy at night, but not bad. It's still good place to stay but with a refurbishment it would be a solid ten and worth a lot more than we paid.

The only positive aspect was the location. The apartment is centrally located in Catania’s historical city center, close to major attractions.

Unfortunately, everything else was extremely disappointing. The staircase leading to the apartment was in terrible condition — very dirty and with broken steps. As soon as we opened the apartment door, we were hit by a strong, unbearable smell, making it impossible to stay inside. The bathroom was dirty, the floor was filthy, and even the bed linen smelled bad. The kitchen was poorly equipped, and the only pan available still had burnt food residue. One of the two air conditioners didn’t work, which made the apartment even more uncomfortable during the hot summer days. We had a car, and it was extremely difficult to find parking nearby. We contacted the host asking for any suggestions or guidance about where to park, but unfortunately we received no helpful response. With such conditions, Booking.com shouldn’t proposed in their platform
