La Villa Serena was a wonderful accommodation. Big and comfortable beds, spacious rooms and overall welcoming setting, with a rooftop to see the volcanoes around Antigua. The bathrooms were clean and the hotel provided shampoo and soap. The staff were super friendly, always available and able to help with any questions and requests. They booked us a shuttle and kept our bags during our Acatenango hike. Breakfast is simple but good.
Only downside was the shower for us because we did not fit under it easily, but that’s on us being very tall travelers :)

Personally, I loved that it was a little outside the center of Antigua. Takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city center or take a taxi/uber. It was quiet, the rooms were spacious, the breakfast was delicious and they have a terrace with beautiful views of the volcanos. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
