Be sure to take advantage of the expansive deck, complete with outdoor furnishings and a gas grill. Spend an afternoon soaking up the views and enjoying a cool breeze, all while grilling up your catch of the day.
When you’re not grilling out, sampling the cuisine at local restaurants, or camping out at one of the nearby parks, you’ll enjoy cooking delicious home-cooked meals in the open fully-equipped kitchen.
Settle in after a day of boating and fishing the expansive lake and relax in the cozy family room as you watch a movie on the cable TV or the sun set through the windows.

Be sure to visit Castle Rock Campground to set up a campsite for a memorable family outing. Or, take a trip to Mackinac Island - home to a variety of historic attractions, as well as over 70 miles of trails. Paths are shared by hikers, bikers, and even equestrians exploring the natural wonder of the park.

Excellent cottage. Very clean. Felt exceptionally well kept. Only disappointed was the kayaks and beach supplies. It is late season, so that is a factor I am sure. The life jackets were full of spiders and the kayaks had accumulated bugs… otherwise, we just loved it. Would definitely recommend.

This was truly an amazing place to stay, with stunning views of the water. The cottage was incredibly clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beach was great, and a don't miss for rock hounds. Very pet friendly.

The thing I always notice first in a rental property is the level of cleanliness, and I was immediately impressed! It is obviously something the owners value, as every area of the property was immaculate. It was also very well-maintained, attractive, and nicely landscaped. The kitchen was well-appointed and well-stocked. Plenty of clean towels and linens for the entire week, and a very efficient washer and dryer for our laundry. We had everything we needed for a great week on the lake! Sunrises were amazing, and could easily be observed over coffee from the deck, beach, or kitchen table. We loved the little town of St. Ignace, especially The Wild Blueberry, where we had breakfast twice and picked up donuts on the other mornings. Being able to quickly board the ferry for Mackinac Island was a tremendous bonus. The proximity of the home to town and other points of interest was excellent. Having our sweet little dog with us for the stay was a must. The hosts were very accommodating, even providing couch covers to protect the furniture so she could relax with us in the evenings. My husband and I highly recommend this property and these hosts. We loved it so much, we have already booked again for next year!
