About this villa rental
Villa Jean Martin is a charming detached house in enclosed grounds. Has a spacious hall, large fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, large living room. Bedrooms have beds. Bed linen and hand towels provided. Cot, washing machine and dryer .The large pool has a waterfall. Zeekoevlei, a lake and nature reserve, home to otters, pelicans and a lot of other native birds. The hippos who were previously found, now at 2.5 km in the nature reserve 'Rondevlei'

House gives lots of privacy, ideal for families or several couples wanting to explore Cape Town.

We spent Christmas at Villa Jean Martin and loved it. Great views of the lake and easy access to the nearby nature reserve which is a great spot for birding. The house is very comfortable and the pool feels like paradise on a hot day. The location provides easy access to the southern areas of the cape making for an easy trip to the beaches along False Bay. It is a quick drive to the wineries on the southern side of Table Mountain and surprisingly easy to get into Cape Town. Highly recommend the house for families.

Villa Jean Martin ademt nog authenticiteit gecombineerd met veel leefruimte en ruim comfort. Ook qua buitenruimte met mooie tuin, is het aangenaam vertoeven. Jammer is dat de zon vanaf drie/vier uur bij het zwembad ontbreekt. Iets meer ruimte rond het zwembad was ook wel prettig geweest, zeker voor grotere gezelschappen. Indien de, bijna altijd aanwezige, wind het toelaat is het terras op de woonverdieping (1e etage) 'the place tot be'. Het huis heeft een prachtig (natuur)uitzicht dat grenst aan het zo kenmerkende Zuid Afrikaanse woon- en leefmilieu met de daarbij behorende kleuren geuren en achtergrond geluiden. Aanwezig maar nooit echt storend. Een prima uitvalbasis om de Kaap te gaan ontdekken en beleven en ook voor een langere tijd te 'overwinteren'. Indien aanwezig is Jean een attente gastheer altijd in voor een 'goed' gesprek.

Ein wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Lage, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Alle 3 Schlafzimmer verfügen über eigenes Badzimmer mit WC. Großzügiger Wohnraum mit perfekt eingerichteter Küche, sogar Waschmaschine mit Trockner vorhanden.
Das Beste ist die große Terrasse im ersten Stock, hier sitzt man und geniesst die Ruhe vom Naturpark Rondevlei und trinkt eine schöne Flasche Wein.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sind sowohl vom Vermieter im Vorfeld, als auch dem Verwalter vor Ort perfekt vorbereitet und betreut worden.
Dieses Feriendomizil würden wir jederzeit und guten Gewissens an Familie, Freunde und Bekannte weiterempfehlen.

Wij (stel met jong kind < 2 jaar) hebben met zeer veel plezier deze villa gehuurd
Alles; huiskamer, keuken en slaap/badkamers, zijn luxe en stijlvol ingericht.
Ligging is ideaal om omgeving van Kaapstad te ontdekken.
Supermarkten met groot assortiment in de buurt.
Prettige is dat de buurman, die ons binnen liet en de sleuteloverdracht deed, erg vriendelijk is en makkelijk bereikbaar is voor vragen.
We hebben een heerlijk tijd gehad in deze villa en in Zuid Afrika. En ons nooit een moment onveilig gevoeld.
Kaapstad en deze villa is een absolute aanrader.
