My favourite along our GR221 route though I’d like to keep it a secret. Historical old mansion, wonderful terrace looking over the sea, rooms a bit old fashioned but in keeping with property. Beds v comfortable, shower room fine. Beautiful sea view from rooms but lots of stairs all over hotel and no lifts. Fabulous swimming pool and terrace and orchard. Beautiful blue themed ‘drawing room’ to relax in with games, books, piano and fire - presumably on winter evenings.
Excellent breakfast and restaurant served a great dinner - both can be taken on the terrace.
Nothing really but stairs warning for less mobile.

The outdoor terrace overlooking the sea was truly amazing!
The piano was out of tune. I am a pianist and would have liked to play the piano but it was unplayable.

The old world atmosphere.
The town itself and the quiet aspect
Staff needed to be more friendly , attentive and engaging with guests..
They were efficient .. BUT...You need to be more human and interactive
