Orla Copacabana Hotel

Clean and exactly as described. Staff were extremely helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage at reception when needed and organised a complimentary airport transfer

My daughter and I stayed here the last few days of our two week trip to Brazil. I looked online at many hotels before finally deciding on this one due to it's combination of location, space and value. Since we were staying at a beachfront hotel I paid extra for the sea view room and I am very glad I did. To wake up with a phenomenal view of Arpoador to the right and the expanse of Copacabana beach to the left was a treat. The nighttime view was even better. We didn't spend much time in the hotel since we were out sight-seeing and spent a full day at the beach. It was convenient to get anywhere in the city by Uber, or walking. The beach was close enough so that we could go back to the room to use the bathroom and re-apply sunscreen, etc. Breakfast we passable, if a bit crowded at peak hours. The shower had great pressure and volume. The hotel staff were very friendly, and spoke great English. They were accommodating to our needs at check out with our flight times.

I was a a little disappointed there was not bar on the roof and the bar they do have had very limited hours and selection. But there are plenty of places to go nearby.

The location is great and the people are helpful and friendly.

My room had parts with water damage. The breakfast was good but a bit crowded at times. Food was fresh. Weirdly, waiters wore masks and latex gloves, like in a hospital. The pool is more like a paddle pool so small it is. The first day my room had sand on the floor, but that was cleaned on the second day of my stay
