I wanted to bring my girlfriend to stay the night with me and they made me pay double (more than if you actually book for 2 on their website). They rang me at 7 am the next day asking her to leave. No way this would even happen... in a hotel lol. Everything seems out of maintenance in this hotel, i went for there breakfast and wanted to bring a cup of coffee in my room, they forbid me. the room is okay.. but everything is run down, elevators seem like they are going to break. Don't waste your money there. Breakfast is pretty basic.

Good location in a safe neighbourhood. The rooftop pool is nice, although the whole area is a little run down. Room is nice for the price range and breakfast decent.
Not the best treatment from the staff, they even tried to add an extra fee at check out because the price I booked it for "was wrong". Resolved after a talk to the manager. Hotel is past its glory days, bit that's also reflected in the price.

Very poor
The hotel was listed as having a gym before I made the booking. On arrival, I was told it was not functioning. At check-out, I requested a discount for this reason. The staff member refused, explaining that it was closed because of Covid and insisted it said so on booking.com. This was not the case.
Moreover, Brazil’s health ministry decreed the end of the state of emergency related to the pandemic days before my arrival. I have been to several hotels in the country over the past six months, all with functioning gyms.
The booking.com page for the hotel now has no reference to a gym, but the staff admitted there had been problems with the listing and said I needed to contact the website instead. One female staff member in particular was very rude.
The manager said he could give no discount but bizarrely offered for me to stay an hour longer in the hotel (?). I would not have made a booking at the hotel had it been made clear the gym was unavailable beforehand. The hotel’s TripAdvisor page still lists a gym.
The breakfast selection was of poor quality and there was no toaster. The Wi-Fi in the room is very bad and only worked in a corner near the door. And they charge you for leaving luggage behind the reception.
Despite the good location, I would never stay here again.

A stay in a very old ruined hotel with a lot of problem for a very high price
- Wrong room, not according to my booking. I got a room with two separated single beds, but wanted a French double bed, what I booked.
- Stuff was pretending that it was my booking, until I was able to my reservation details on booking.com. Then they accepted a room change
- Three attempts were required to get a proper working key card. It took us several minutes to get access to our room
The air conditioning was not working properly and was too loud
- The light had some malfunctions and was flashing / flickering
- I asked several times for changing defect bulbs / fixing the problems with the lights, but nothing happened.
- There wasn´t any power outlet for charging a phone / laptop, etc.
- Water running out of main water valve at the wall I the bathroom and flooding the floor. So we always a wet flood in bath
- Loud noise coming from the elevator. The whole elevator was VERY loud.
- Some ladies get stucked in the elevator. Emergency bell wasn´t working. I realized, that something was wrong and alarmed the hotel stuff. The ladies were stucked in the elevator for some hours.
- No water for at least 3 hours. I decided to have a cold shower after waiting for 3 hours, because I didn´t wanted to wait longer.
- In general: No water pressure. Temperature varies under shower. Sometimes there was a lot of air in the water system.
- Not enough toilet paper
- Wifi out of service
- Poor breakfast, for example cold scrambled eggs
- We are missing a ring, which we left in the bath room. One day, after the cleaning lady finished our room, the ring was gone. We ask at the reception, if anyone saw it, but didn´t got a proper reply
The whole hotel smelled musty and moldy. The restaurant in particular is a windowless cave that smells very musty. The ventilation system seems to be moldy from the inside.
In general: The hotel is pretty old and has a lot of problems.

Good location
I liked the location of the hotel. I liked the staff at the reception. The view from the top floor is great, you can see the statue of the Christ the Redeemer at the back in a sunny day. The swimming pool was always clean.
The room lighting is not the best. The majority of the staff were nice, helpful and friendly. Just one employee at the breakfast wasn't pleasant.

I like the Hotel was not too far from the Copacabana Beach and the view from the pool and my room was beauitful.
I had was to ask them to change my bed linen because

Location to Copacabana beach - just a short walk. Pool on rooftop was ok and there was a great view.
Looked much better in photos.Really dated , bedroom not cared for and carpets not very clean.Room was depressing.Breakfast was dreadful. Card to open room had to be fixed every day as wouldn’t work after we had went out hotel. Lifts took ages. Gym was never opened. Room stuffy but air con made a terrible racket so couldn’t turn on. Shower tiles filthy. Not good value for money.

Infelizmente, a experiência foi muito abaixo do esperado e não condiz com o que é anunciado na plataforma.
O quarto apresenta cheiro forte e desagradável, o que torna a permanência desconfortável. As camas e travesseiros são extremamente desconfortáveis, dificultando o descanso adequado, sem falar no cheiro das roupas de cama e o tipo de cobertores que eles oferecem.
Além disso, o elevador quebrou durante a estadia e o hotel não oferece nenhuma alternativa, como auxílio para hóspedes. Isso nos obriga a subir e descer escadas, o que é inaceitável, especialmente para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida ou com bagagens.
