We loved the house, there was plenty of space for a large family, the house was surrounded by forest preserve, far away from other houses, which gave us some privacy.The area was very peaceful.

We loved our stay at Pepin House. 10 of us classmates gathered there for two nights. It was very clean, comfortable, and attractive. Nicely decorated. The hosts were great to work with. The road up to the house was paved. We walked up the hill just a little way and could see the a Mississippi River, Minnesota, and the valley. The area was very quiet and tranquil. The towns of Alma, Pepin, Maiden Rock, Laura Ingalls Wilder birthplace were fun to see. There are many good restaurants in the area including Beth’s, Pier 21 and the Pickle Factory. We would like to return one day. We had no complaints or suggestions.
