The place was amazing! Seems like a great place for large families, but was a perfect getaway for my wife and I. We brought along our dog who loved exploring the area around the cottage and go for walks down the dirt road. The open air room was ideal for reading in the morning, all the furniture was comfy, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The kitchen has everything you need to make delicious meals, and there are plenty of games to pass the time. We went to nearby Red Wing, MN which has an amazing bakery called Hanisch. We will definitely be back in the future!

Hot tub wasn’t hot when we checked in so we had to turn it on and it wasn’t usable for one of our two nights. There was no hot water in the house and we had a group of nine guys in a wedding party that needed to shower and although it did get fixed, it put them on a time crunch to get to the wedding venue. Also the dishwasher, I couldn’t figure out how to start.
