Hostel Merlin

The location is magnificent! The price is quite good, considering its proximity to everything in the Historical Center. An easy 10 min walk to the bus station. I've stayed here 5 or 6 times, it would be easy to find my earlier reviews! Great little kitchen space, well-stocked. Alex is super friendly & helpful! The Hostel overlooks the river, and it's just perfect for any back-packer!

I don't have problem with anything at Hostel Merlin! But, keep in mind that this is a hostel with shared accommodation & shared facilities ...

Oh, I have stayed at Hostel Merlin many times! You just can't beat the location! Easy walking distance from the bus station, right at the edge of the Old Town. My friend & I drank our morning coffee overlooking the river ... there's two small kitchens ... three shared washrooms. The place is clean & safe. Alex, the host, is magnificently kind & friendly -- we could keep our bags there before catching an afternoon bus. We will most definitely be back -- !!

Just to remember that this is a tourist hostel -- shared facilities -- so -- if anyone is speaking or making noise in the hallway outside your room, you will hear it. We didn't have a problem with this, at all -- I've stayed there 5 or 6 times already -- but simply to remember this.

The hostel was right across the bridge into the downtown area. Perfect location..

That they used very strong scent on the bedding. Note...the stairs are steep but oh so quaint.

Centrally located in old town. As there were only other two guests, they upgraded my room to a Private room instead. Very nice of them. Little cozy Hostel with the basic for a night or two.

Everything was ok.
