Estupendo, limpio y amplio.

Las escaleras son peligrosas, para personas con poca movilidad no es recomendable.

Excellent communication with the host, who also sent through very useful information Fabulous location, so close to walk around the old town. Lots of restaurants and bars 50 meters down the road but we did not hear any noise in the property. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, the roof top terrace was perfect. Would definitely stay here again

It's a big spacious apartment, located in the middle of the Lagos old town - very close to everything. There's also a nice rooftop balcony with the BBQ available for grilling. I really want to leave a good review, but I also want to be honest. In his defence, owner has been helpful with the issues we had (see below), but it doesn't help with the fact that we still had to experience those issues.

We arrived around 10pm after long travel from London (we both were sick with cold) and found an empty lockbox with no keys inside. We contacted the owner immediately and he helped us to get in the apartment shortly. When we entered, we realised that the apartment hasn't been cleaned after the previous visitors. After some back and forth, owner confirmed that the cleaning team mixed up and they will provide a replacement appartment. The temporary place for one night was good, however it was very annoying to have to deal with all of it while we were tired and sick, as well as having to unpack just for one night and then pack again next more to unpack again at the original places we were supposed to stay at. We were hoping to receive some kind of apology in a shape of a bottle of wine or smth similar, but unfortunately we didn't. I thought that maybe he would at least allow us to check out late, but he sai the place was already booked for the day of check out, so there wa snothing he can do. Check out at 10am is already rather early, I have to say. There were also a few small issues that bothered us: - There was this overall smell of an "old place". I think the owner should do a proper deep clean to get rid of it. - The bathroom door didn't close and kept opening. Out of all the doors in the house, bathroom door is the one that you want to close, especially if you stay with a partner or someone else that can hear/smell you doing your business. - Front door lock was very difficult to open with the key every time we had to go back to the apartment. It takes some wiggle to make it turn eventually. - Mattress was quite uncomfortable. Couch upstairs was more comfortable, and that is not great. - there was no shower gel or shampoo, but cleaning team brought it to us shortly after we asked. It wasn't really indicated in the place description, but it's something that guests tend to expect, I would say.
