This place is good for solo travelers and backpackers. There was a nice communal courtyard where it's easy to meet people. There is a communal kitchen as well but it's just moderately clean. The place is a sort of oasis from the chaos and noise of the city center, although the noise does seep in a little.
There are no rooms with private bathrooms due to the nature of this old, heritage building. As such, large numbers of guests need to share just a few bathrooms. One of the two toilets for the upstairs bathroom was broken. There's no hot water. The wifi only works in the courtyard, not in the rooms. There's no aircon, just a ceiling fan. This place is not suitable for families. We ended up cancelling our 2nd night due to these issues and we were not given a refund.
