About this apartment rental
The apartment is located in Quinta do Lago, within the Ria Formosa Natural Park, a protected area covering approximately 18,400 hectares, featuring lagoons, wetlands, barrier island systems, and abundant vegetation to enjoy.
The Ria Formosa is a very important nesting area, both for migratory and wintering birds, used by numerous species of waterfowl and characterized by the presence of populations of extremely rare or endangered species.
The apartment includes one (1) bedroom with two (2) beds, each 95 cm wide, a living room with a sofa bed and dining area, two bathrooms, and two terraces.
The kitchen is equipped with a glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster, and is fully stocked with all necessary kitchenware.
The apartment features a large shared swimming pool with a children’s pool, as well as a poolside snack bar (open from April through September) where you can enjoy affordable meals. There are also two tennis courts, and just a few minutes away you’ll find ATMs, a post office, supermarkets, a medical center, and shops (a 5-minute drive).
There are three golf courses very close to the apartment:
- Quinta do Lago Norte. An 18-hole course, par 72, winding through sandy terrain covered with pine trees, heather, and wildflowers. It’s a highly technical course that demands great precision.
- Quinta do Lago Sur. It’s located within the Ria Formosa Natural Park. This course is one of the best in the Algarve; it features plenty of water and vegetation, so it requires precise shots. It has traditionally hosted the Portuguese Open.
- San Lorenzo Golf Course.

The accommodation was spacious and clean. It’s in an excellent location in an area we’ve visited a number of times before. The host was very helpful in the build up to our stay ensuring everything was straight forward. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great week staying at this property - the location is fantastic, with the beach, golf courses and Quinta restaurants all nearby. The pool area is also great fun and the bar staff very friendly.
The property had everything that our young family required and, despite only having one bedroom, the kids slept fantastically on the sofa bed each evening and it certainly didn't feel cramped (the kitchen is small but we ate out most days).
The Owner was extremely helpful and responsive whenever needed.
Air con in the bedroom would be a bonus but we generally slept well and fine.
