Appreciated a location well outside Redonda. The lady who runs it is very competent and works hard to be helpful. The laundry service was excellent. A cooked in-house meal is provided (choice of 2 menus) provided its prebooked. There were not really other good options in the area.
On booking the checkin was described for 1pm but on the door it said 2pm resulting in many guests waiting in the sun for an hour. The toilet in the room was very noisy (including a loud air blower). There were two more toilets in a separate building outside but not many guests were using them. Had greater expectations from this small hostel in a quiet village location.

Nice bunks and very nice welcome by owner/operator. Dinner was outstanding.
The sofas located in the back looked dirty. It was not welcoming. I recommend changing out the sofa covers or washing them weekly since they are exposed to the elements.

Overall our experience was good.
There are a few things to note: there is no kitchen, and it can be quite noisy. The lights are kept on until 22:00, so people tend to stay up, talking and making noise in the room until then.
