Pension Dvořák

I'd recommend Pension Dvořák. The overall experience was great, I particularly liked its central location and the spacious room.

The staircase could be better signposted.

Tolle Lage: in der Fußgängerzone,wenige Gehminuten sowohl vom Busterminal als auch von den Flusspromenaden und Kolonnaden. Großes Angebot an Gastronomie in der unmittelbarer Umgebung. Sehr sauber. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Super freundlichess und hilfsbereites Personal. Reibungsloses check-in und check-out. Nach dem check-out dürfte ich noch das Gepäck bis zur Abreise hinterlegen..

Мені не сподобалось, що в номері немає кондиціонеру, через що мені було жарко і я не могла нормально спати, ледве засинала і часто прокидалась, відкрите вікно не допомагало, бо номер під дахом розміщений, також варто переглянути підхід до гостя і надавати йому хоча б пляшечку простої води безкоштовно)

It was a super pleasant stay in Pension Dvorak. The people: Nikola (the owner) and her staff are super nice. My first thanks go to them. Nikola is also a master in communication skills and super quick in answering on booking. The reception is not open all the time, but a quick note on booking or phone and everything will surely be arranged to the guests likes. The Room: Mine (#1) was spacious, quiet, the bed was super comfortable, the linen and there bathroom were immaculately clean. There is a water kettle and an assortment of tea & instant coffee. I would take this room ever again. The location: The location is a blast. An underground parking is nearby and the Pension provides discounted voucher with a good rate to get rid of your car (the good thing: at the "P" they give you a plastic card which provides multiple in/out during your stay for possible excursions. No parking at the premises itself, but I encountered it convenient If you stay in the city you absolutely don't need a car. All the highlights along the River Tepla and pedestrians area are in good and easy walking distance Also the bus-stop to get around town is 4 min from the Pension. Perfectly. The price: I cannot judge on this, because my stay was during the Karlovy Vary International Filmfestival. But it appeared to me that prices are skyrocketing in the entire city during the festival and also Dvorak has risen the price too, of course. It appeared moderate and reasonable. Especially as the festivals headquarter is just 7 minutes away. The Gymn: There is a gymn, but I didn't check it

What I am mentioning now is NOT bad at all. Just a little weak. (And therefor in total only 9/10) Be aware (especially if you have heavy luggage) that there is no elevator. 2 or 3 floors have to be done on the staircase. Also the times to unpack your car in front of the door are quite limited as the Pension is in the pedestrians zone. I experienced the parking situation as convenient for my stay, but if you are travelling by car with HEAVY luggage take this into consideration The breakfast staff is so warm hearted and always helpful. Triple +++ The breakfast itself is ok. It helps to start the day in a good manner, nothing exceptional, nothing bad. Most likely it is calculated for the prices besides festival season, but for the festival price of the room I'd consider the breakfast the weak point
