Let me tell you a little bit about Nektar during my stay. This is my first review ever (I normally don’t care either way and don’t bother to leave reviews). The location is great, the room is substandard (it is a 2 star) but the overall experience was not good. First - The key fob is attached to the key but the fob runs the electricity to the room so you can’t leave the electricity running (AC) while you’re gone because you have to take the key+fob. I attempted to separate the two and when I did, the guy at the hotel (I guess he’s the owner or manager) chased me across the street and took my key from me because they “have to be together” then just left it at the reception desk with no one watching it just sitting on the counter where anyone had access to it and my room. Then came the ants. On multiple days, I found trails of ants throughout the room . When I told the manager about it, he told me “it’s hot” as to say that it’s my problem the ants are in my room because it’s hot outside. Oh, and there was the time I asked for a towel for my friend to dry off after going to the beach (only using the room to change) and the manager lady reminded me that the booking was for 1 adult (again this is not my problem). She begrudgingly gave me a towel for my friend. In total = the mangers are terrible. The rest of the staff was amazing.
