Appartamento nel centro storico di Siracusa, a due passi da tutti i servizi. Proprietario molto cordiale e disponibile.
Nel bagno è presente uno scalino che andrebbe segnalato.
L’ultima mattina siamo state svegliate bruscamente da due operai che lanciavano dal piano di sopra mobili nel cortile, Impedendoci di usare il balconcino esterno. Il proprietario comunque si è scusato poiché era all’oscuro di ciò.

In Ortigia, in a small courtyard, but a small courtyard surrounded by what at a guess is WW2 bomb damage, about 30% of the surrounding buildings are derelict or worse.
That didn’t particularly upset us however and it provided a secure place to park our vehicle.
The studio had everything you’d hope for in terms of comfort and kitchen facilities, the bed was comfy, the bathroom and air-con fine.
There is a small balcony with seating for 2 overlooking the courtyard.
Try as we might we couldn’t make the top load washing machine work. We ended up with dripping clothes which we had to hang on the (thoughtfully provided)washing line.
If we were missing something I hope he leaves some instructions for use in future.
In our 24 day tour of Sardinia and Sicily this was the most expensive place we stayed, about 20% too expensive we thought.

Location is extremely central and convenient, and the host was so gracious and kind to help out even picking me up from the train station during a rainy day. Very responsive on the Booking.com app
