Holiday house La Poste, one of the 4 cottages of the domain Le Nid des Oiseaux, with its entrance on the street side has a spacious entrance with an impressive castle-like stone staircase, the living area on the ground floor and a very spacious bedroom and bathroom on the first floor.
The living area on the ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, washing machine, 4-burner hob, extractor hood, oven, microwave, coffee maker and other equipment and crockery, a lounge with comfortable sofas, one of which can function as a sofa bed.
The beautiful stone staircase leads you to the first floor, with the very spacious bedroom with one double bed, one single bed and 2 sitting areas.
You will also find on this floor, right next to the bedroom; the bathroom with shower, sink, bidet and toilet.
This home is spacious and tastefully decorated and can easily accommodate 3 people.
The entrance to the large and beautiful garden is 10 steps away from the gite La Poste
The beautiful garden with its centuries-old trees, has various seating areas, dining tables and chairs and offers you the opportunity to prepare your meals on the barbecue and to eat there, relax and enjoy your book or glass of wine.
The courtyard and garden which are shared with the other guests are spacious and decorated in such a way that everyone has their own place, with table chairs and sun loungers.
The domain Le Nid des Oiseaux, from the 15th-16th centuries, consists of a large mansion with an outbuilding and is built of natural stone. Originally this large house was a collection of 3 houses and the now corridors used to be the small inner alleys. In a later phase, 4 roofs have been set up, which cannot be seen on the outside. The main house is therefore divided into 3 fully-fledged holiday homes with its thick walls of about 80 cm. The holiday house La Poste has its entrance on the street side, the 2 other gîtes (Le Marronnier and the Côté Jardin) have their entrance on the garden side and on the courtyard side. The outbuilding where the horses used to be has been converted into a romantic holiday cottage, called

Magnifique demeure ancienne en pierre, decorée avec goût. Un grand escalier monumental historique ! Tout le nécessaire y est. Le fait de devoir sortir dans la rue pour accéder au jardin n’est pas idéal mais c’est bien précisé dans l’annonce. Un peu trop sur la rue à notre goût mais les nuisances sonores restent acceptables.

Comme l'impression de remonter dans le temps dans cette belle demeure avec son grand escalier. Très bon séjour même si le beau temps n'a pas été vraiment au rendez-vous et nôtre hôte à été charmante.
