Melograno Villas

Very modern & nicely decorated villas, with magnificent views of the Chora, nice terraces (for breakfast & night drinks), a small outdoor jacuzzi and spacious rooms. Breakfast was cooked every morning based on our desires. Best part was the location as we were walking to Chora every single day (around 10’ walk), enjoying the splendid views. Everyone was very polite and helped with any question we had.

Es war eine interessante Erfahrung. Von der Terrasse hatte man einen traumhaften Blick auf die Chora. Der Besitzer und das Personal waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie besorgten alles was man brauchte und nicht vorhanden war.

Der Zugang zum Apartment war durch viele Treppenstufen möglich. Dies stand nicht in der Beschreibung zum Glück sind wir gut zu fuß. Ca 20 Stufen um zur Eingangstür und ca 18 Stufen zum Schlafbereich. Das sicherlich gut konzipierte Beleuchtungskonzept funktionierte zum Teil nicht. Eine Toilette und Waschbecken waren ensuite und waren erklärungsbedürftig. Die Dusche war auf der Wohnebene. D. h. The stay at Melograno Villas was wonderful. We had a very comfortable duplex apartment in a typical Greek style and a lovely hot tub on the terrace with a stunning view of the Kastro. The kindness of Maria and Kali were touching. Every morning with great joy they served us a homemade breakfast with Greek delicacies of all kinds: sweet, savory, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, bacon, exceptional fresh bread. For a week we were served different delicacies every morning, every day a triumph of different flavors from the previous day. Flavors, aromas and recipes linked to the territory. An unforgettable experience like in few places today you can live. Michail welcomed us with great hospitality and drove us back to the airport with amiability like he was a dear friend or relative. An extraordinary family that allowed us to spend a dream week full of beautiful emotions on a magical Greek island.

It was a quite appartement with a lot of space. The breakfast served every morning was great. The host picked us up at the harbour and dropped us of again.

When we arrived we were given another appartement then the one we booked. The host told us that we could change to the one we booked but when we had a look it was not ready at all to have guests in it. It was a dirty mess. So we decided to keep the one we were given. When we entered the appartement we were shocked by how dirty it was. It was obviously not cleaned which made us feel very uncomfortable. When reached out to the host about it ( and other things), he always had an explanation and then would take care of it. But of course no one wants to spend his/her holiday complaining and having things fixed after you mention it. It was just totally not how it is described on the website. The servants that served the breakfast said that the manager/host was very new. It was just a very weird vibe going on with the servants sitting in the garage next door the whole day.
