Casa Tara

I had such a wonderful and peaceful stay at Casa Tara. Tucked away off the busy Main Street of Taganga, this cozy room with a private terrace was perfect. I also used to do some at home workouts. I was working remote, and the internet worked perfectly, able to hold video calls all day, and occasionally take a break on the terrace and take in the view. The bathroom was large with a wardrobe. The bed was comfortable and never got too hot at night with the fan. The hammock in the room was perfect for chill nights. Andres was an amazing and warm host who was super flexible and always around to answer any question or meet any request. The beautiful husky pup was also a perfect added bonus. Great for a couple of solo traveler. I wish I could have stayed here longer but when I’m back to Taganga this chill little rooftop spot is where I’m coming back to.

Really nothing. If you are a backpacker and plan to cool, the communication kitchen area is quite small so need to wait your turn.

Loved our stay here. Would like to if stayed longer but already so where booked. Andres was amazing the whole. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at Casa Tara as I definitely will the next time I visit Taganga. Really gonna miss Mia too!

A great very nice and helpful owner with so sweet dog and cat, perfect place with sofa to sit and the kitchen, we liked to be there with him, he helped us a lot and he communicated fast and also he spoke in English, he managed also for us taxi from the airport, we felt welcome, you can go from him to Tayrona national parque, it is one of the most beautful natural places ever, we spend there 2 nights, Accomodation in Taganga: a perfect place to stay also in the evenings- secure locked area with hammocks. You get free filtered water. Thank you for everything!

Be careful to come when it is not a pre/carneval time, that time all the city is loud, you might have problem to sleep. In different times the place is quite and peaceful. I would probably also buy no plastics plates to the kitchen (there were only few normal ones), cups were OK, just plates.
