"Magical hotel. Very quiet, down a long private drive with white bulls roaming by the driveway. The meal in the evening was very very different but extremely good. Wine selection was outstanding."

Fabulous location and room, beautiful scenery and walks......but eat somewhere else not in the hotel!
Dinner was dire, it was cold and lacked any flavour, when we advised the waiter our meals were cold, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked off, no apology, he just wanted to avoid us from then on. At breakfast it was very uncomfortable as thier attitude was very off, and we did not get offered a second coffee even though we waited for them to approach us! We should have had the hump with them, not the other way round! So we had no main course at all, but they still wanted to charge us for it on the bill, when we said we were not paying they took off the one course! Service was extremely poor, we would never recommend this hotel or stay here again!
