Great stay for 2 days. Not 5 star because of age, But if you want the Hilton wrong location.

The Views, Location for a getaway. Food was great. wine selection was very good.

A place with aristocratic manners - but no one wears "Trachtenkleid" on Sunday

The location is exceptional. The breakfast is very good.

The manager looked like sergeant major giving commands to me. (like in the American films (scaring the kids) He does not really like the guests, or I was not up to his standards. "Come with me" - as a greetings. "pay and give me the key back" - before the breakfast on the last day. Before breakfast I never want to check out, so giving back the key... For that (any) price I would expect a bit better one. Luckily there were much more polite waiters and very polite waitress. There was a big noise in the bathroom of the room. I needed to get up and flush the toilet every few hours to get calm for another few hours. I would not stay there more than one night. That one night would have been more quiet and more peaceful in the car in the parking lot.

Easy access, peaceful atmosphere, great cuisine, excellent facilities.

Location, Location, Location... View is stunning. Atmosphere is serene and peaceful. Hostess so kind and personable. Excellent facilities and superb cuisine. When I travel for business I mix in some pleasure too and Maria Eck is ideal for me. Not too far from Munich, close to Salzburg and other locations in Austria. A welcome break after a busy day. PS - if you're looking for 'nightlife', stay in a city!

Well... for starters, these are not complaints but 'nice to haves' to make the stay faultless. Facility to make a hot drink in the bedroom - a kettle and coffee/tea/milk sugar. A small bottle of water per person. For business travellers, and iron would be a big help.

very cosy and quiet place with a historic atmosphere and friendly host

our attic room with wood panels on the walls was super cosy, had a great view and even shutters to completely black-out any light. all food was delicious and the host made sure we had a good start into the morning.

it's a historic pilgrimage inn from 1664 next to a monastery and church, so if you want to sleep late, make sure to bring earplugs to block out the churchbells. the place can only be reached by car (unless you're on a pilgrimage), which didn't bother us, because we just needed a quiet place for the night and had a car.

The location is beautiful, awsome view and the hotel is nice

We had a situation at the restaurant, and when we complain about not getting what we ordered the staff become really bad, they told us it was our fault and our mistake, their position was super arrogant, we have been living in in Germany for 4 years alredy and never have faced a situation as bad as that one so we left the hotel one night before planned

Tbe staff was incredible, the location was outstanding and the rooms were great. I wish I had known how beautiful it was so that we could've gotten there sooner and enjoyed our time a bit more. The breakfast was pretty good There were a few meat and cheese choices, coffee, tea, orange juice, water, and apple juice. There was a variety of breads, Nutella and butter. There was also fruit cups, yogurt cups and cereal choices. Additionally, the staff offered to cook eggs and bring hot chocolate.

It was really amazing!

The staff and the breakfast was fabulous! We enjoyed our stay very much. We liked, that everyone was taking care of the hygienic-rules all the time. You can feel, that the staff and the management are local and traditional in the best way. Seems like a big family!

Wunderbar!!! Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Ein großes Zimmer, sehr gemütlich, mit viel Holz und wunderbarem Fernblick bis zum Chiemsee. Die Lage im Wald und dennoch Weitblick haben wir sehr genossen. Alle Räumlichkeiten sind sehr großzügig; Frühstücksraum und auch der Speisesaal. DasFrühstück bietet alles was man möchte, Eier werden frisch zubereitet. Göttliche Marmeladen sind selbst gekocht. Restaurant sollte man nicht verpassen - es war köstlich. Alle Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Dazu fällt mir nichts ein!

Toller, typisch bayrischer Gasthof direkt am Kloster Maria Eck. Traumhafter Blick auf den Chiemsee. Sehr gute bayrische Küche. Sehr freundliches und fittes Personal. Zimmer einfach, aber gut. Wunderbare Wandermöglichkeiten ringsrum.

2 nachtjes slapen in een sprookjesachtige omgeving

Zeer vriendelijk personeel en ontzettend mooie locatie hoog in de bergen. Mooi populair restaurant erbij en wandeltochten in de omgeving. We hadden een van de beste kamers en waren van veel voorzien. Het uitzicht was adembenemend over de Chiemsee.

De bedden waren voor mij een beetje te hard en we misten koffie/thee op de kamer.
