Beautiful setting and wonderful hosts - highly recommended.

So many good things to say! Fabulous hosts, Marc and Rachel. Beautiful location, with easy access to the main sights in the area. Wonderful convivial atmosphere in the dining room in the evening, and tasty food cooked by Marc. Plentiful breakfast and eggs cooked to order. Plenty of parking space. Useful small kitchen in the room, with fridge.

Two relatively minor negatives: slow & unreliable wifi (but we are so dependent on it nowadays, so this is quite important) and having to pay with cash rather than on credit card.

Fantastic mountain getaway

Gorgeous location, delicious food, and welcoming hosts. The kids loved the nearby hikes and the erlebnispark. We had a fantastic stay!

Optimal basis for discovering of Chiemgau and Chiemsee region

The Gasthof can be found in the middle of the nature. Mountains, forest and alpine pastures all around. There is a waterfall nearby as well. The Gasthof itself is an old, traditional Bavarian building, but assembled with everything you need. Marc and Rachel, your hosts are fantastic humanbeings. It looks clear that they adore what they are doing, this is their life, and you might be the privileged participant of their life while you are staying there. I must mention the extremely good kitchen, Marc is a real masterchef. Five days per a week you can enjoy the culinary in the Gasthof, because on Wednesday and Saturday the kitchen is closed, but Marc certainly can offer you very good restaurants in Ruhpolding (5 km far from Butz'n Wirt). Also he can give you good tips about the region, some hidden places which you can't find in the travellers book!

It's only an alert to the travellers, that the last 700 m of the road from the village Brand up to the Gasthof, very narrow. Be careful before you drive up, because it's not too easy to give way to an oncoming car (but possible :-)).

Wir haben uns super wohlgefühlt.

Einfach alles. Super authentisch das Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum. Die Gastgeber sind mit Leib und Seele in Ihrem Gasthof ein traumhaftes Team. Auch ein guter Tipp in punkto wandern ist Gold wert.

Wunderbar

Die Region ist herrlich um dem Alltagsstress einfach mal zu entfliehen. Sehr naturnah. Wir waren leider nur für ein verlängertes Wochenende an diesem schönen Ort. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich, authentisch und sympathisch. Unser Zimmer war sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und wir sind nach unseren Wandertouren am Abend gern zum Butzn Wirt zurückgekehrt. Das Abendessen (Vorspeise und Hauptgang) war sehr gut und ausreichend. Leider war kein "Platz" mehr für ein Dessert 😉😅. Die Frühstücksräume sind urgemütlich und das Frühstück selbst war für uns völlig ausreichend. Auf Wunsch bereiten die Gastgeber verschiedene Eivariationen zu und es wurden jeden Morgen zusätzliche Leckereien an den Tisch gebracht (verschiedene Fischsorten, Karottensalat, Kuchen etc.) Verschiedene Brötchensorten, Croissants, Wurst-und Käseaufschnitt sowie Müsli, Joghurt mit frischem Obst und Käffchen oder Tee gibt es natürlich auch. Ein nettes Plätzchen. Schade, dass wir nur für 2 Nächte bleiben konnten. War eine richtig schöne Auszeit bei euch unterm Dach lieber Marc und liebe Rachel.

Sehrt schöne Unterkunft, überragendes Frühstück und Restaurant und herzliche Gastgeber, was will man mehr. Dazu kann die Bergtour zum Hochfelln direkt am Haus starten.

Perfekter Ausgangsort für Rad-Touren.

Das ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Runterkommen. Kein Trubel und viel Landschaft. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Man hat sich wirklich willkommen gefühlt.

Der Berggasthof ist schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Aber gerade das macht seinen Charme aus.

Einfach schön!

Die Lage ist wirklich außerordentlich schön. Abends kann man noch gemütlich auf der Terrasse sitzen, ein Glas Wein oder ein Bier genießen und in die Berge schauen. Das Essen ist ebenfalls einfach super! Das Frühstück hat alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann und das Abendessen ist ebenfalls extrem lecker. Die Wirtsleute sind unglaublich nett und sympathisch (und irgendwie immer gut gelaunt und fröhlich) und man bekommt tolle Tipps zur Erkundung der Gegend und für Ausflüge. Alles in allem hat es uns dort wirklich sehr gut gefallen.

Wir hatten das Zimmer unter dem Dach und die enge und steile Treppe war für uns etwas beschwerlich. Für junge Leute dürfte das aber kein Problem sein. Beim nächsten Mal buchen wir einfach ein anderes Zimmer.

Besondere und einzigartige Unterkunft

Sehr gastfreundliche und herzliche Besitzer. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl! Die Atmosphäre ist sehr besonders und die Lage ist einzigartig und abgelegen. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Zimmer und die Unterkunft allgemein hat einen besonderen, alten, gepflegten und gemütlichen Flair. Jederzeit wieder!

Prima, Ort für einen kürzeren oder längeren Aufenthalt.

Lage und Größe der Unterkunft. Wenige, schön renovierte Zimmer und somit „familiär“ und bayerisch hyggelig 🙂. Schön ist auch der zur Verfügung gestellte Aufenthaltsraum, auch wenn wir den nicht gebraucht haben. Generell ist das Haus schön, zum wohlfühlen, renoviert.

Der Berggasthof hat eine Super Lage, umgeben von den Bergen. Schön ruhig, perfekt für gestresste Großstädter 😊 Die Familie Jansen nimmt jeden Gast herzlich auf und erfüllt auch Sonderwünsche! Das Frühstück ist sehr reichlich. Das Essen Abends im Restaurant, gekocht vom Wirt, ist göttlich .wenn der Mann nicht schon verheiratet wäre....😅 Fazit: gerne wieder, kann man nur empfehlen!!

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder.

Wir haben uns im Butzn Wirt sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sehr sauber, die Betreiber sehr lieb und immer hilfsbereit. Wir genossen unseren wundervollen Ausblick, die Ruhe, die Natur und das leckere Essen mit sehr gutem Bier. Das Frühstück war super. Parkplätze und Wanderwege vor der Tür. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und bereits wieder gebucht.
