Mitsis Selection Rinela

I love a different Mitsis Hotel a lot so I loved everything that reminds me of Mitsis brand in this hotel. Other than that the botanical gardens and that they don’t shoo away the cats were my favourite parts

Most of the staff were miserable and rude they didn’t know I was Greek and I understood what they were saying they also were cussing a lot in front of customers. The food was alright but I kept comparing it to the other Mitsis I love which is WAY better Also to comment on the bars and creperie, gyros and pizza place they were all mediocre to really bad unfortunately

The hotel is amazing! - Very clean and well maintaned (gardens, pools, beach,...everything is being arranged by the staff everyday, all day!). - The room (we had a front row balcony room) is very confortable, with lots of space and all the amenities available. - The beach is great! With a bar for drinks, a pizza station (the pizzas were very tasty!) and a barbecue corner. On the pool there's another bar with drinks and a station for ice cream, crepes, sandwiches, waffles, etc - 24h available food among the buffet and the 4 or 5 restaurants. We tried the buffet, the steak house and the greek restaurant...all very good. The breakfast is also very tasty, with lots of options and, because the hotel is so big, there are 2 available places for breakfast. Ours was next to the beach, with a amazing view. Perfect to start the day. - The staff was always very friendly, from front desk to cleaning staff, to waiters,...everybody! - Every night the hotel offered 2 live shows at the same time in different locations (main bar and beach bar). - The location is not central, but it's just 20min away from the old town by car and 15min to the airport. - The concierge service is very quick and they always managed everything we needed. - Regarding some reviews I saw in advance: the planes don't bother at all. They're landing almost every 30min, but you only notice it if you're at the beach and you barely hear it with the sound of the waves. The hotel is very family friendly with lots os space for the kids to run and play. We had no kids with us, but it was perfectly fine to have lots of them around us having fun. Plus, if you don't want kids around, there's always the option to go to an "adult only" hotel. - In general, great hotel! It was perfect for us to spend 4 days relaxing, spending time (lots of it) at the beach, eating whenever we wanted, sleeping,...just good life and not worring about a thing.

- During the breakfast and the buffet, the drinks are not available for self service. We had to order and it took always quite some time to get some drinks. Plus, they serve the drinks in very small glasses and it's very difficult to order a 2nd drink. Also in the main bar, where it is normal not to have self service drinks, the drinks take a long time to be served (we waited more than 20min for a simple espresso in the morning with only our table and two more being served). And at night, when it's more crowded, it was always more than 30min to be served with a simple cola or orange juice.

- Al a carte restaurants were nice (Asian/ Italian / Steak) - Dionisis the bar waiter was exceptional , always going the extra mile and kept giving us good drink options to try and he was also always happy and friendly.

- Main restaurant - there were no options for evening buffet at all and breakfasts waiting forever for a coffee by the time you had eaten breakfast, the coffee still hadn’t come out. - Slow service with drinks at the main bar and pool bar - No mini bar restock for 2 days but was advised when we got there the fridge was unlimited and would be filled up every day. - No restock of toilet roll/ body wash- had to request - The bed sheets were not replaced at all on our stay ( 1 week), this seemed very unhygienic to not change the sheets not even once.
