This resort is truly exceptional, from the warm and welcoming staff to the fantastic amenities. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a villa that had its own private pool, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return! We often share our wonderful experiences about the resort and how much we loved our time in Crete. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff; your efforts really made a difference!

Aesthetically this resort is beautiful. The beach and views are beautiful. Our room was tidy and clean and had everything you need.
Our swim up pool was absolutely freezing cold. We couldn’t even swim in it even on a hot sunny day. Most of the staff was friendly, however there was this one receptionist who was very rude to us with every encounter. We had just come from Dreams Corfu all inclusive, the swim up pool temperature was alot more pleasant to swim in cold but not freezing and the restaurant quality for food was a lot better aswell as the service. We received 5 star service from all their staff which is what we paid for and expected the same at Mitsis Rinela but didn’t get, which was disappointing because we booked based on reviews.

The resort is very clean and well maintained. The mini bar was full and the room was cleaned to a good standard daily. We didn’t feel the need to leave the resort once which is rare and the facilities were very pleasant. Special shout out to marina who works serving drinks poolside, she was an absolute delight and the highlight of our trip always smiling always willing to help and never let a glass run dry we will definitely be returning in the future.
Not much not to like, the only thing I might say is a lot of the sharing pools are labelled as sharing pools on the map however they are actually private pools (private pools also listed on the map) so there was some confusion but saying that there was no issue getting a spot around the main pool so everyday we had somewhere to chill.

- Al a carte restaurants were nice (Asian/ Italian / Steak)
- Dionisis the bar waiter was exceptional , always going the extra mile and kept giving us good drink options to try and he was also always happy and friendly.
- Main restaurant - there were no options for evening buffet at all and breakfasts waiting forever for a coffee by the time you had eaten breakfast, the coffee still hadn’t come out.
- Slow service with drinks at the main bar and pool bar
- No mini bar restock for 2 days but was advised when we got there the fridge was unlimited and would be filled up every day.
- No restock of toilet roll/ body wash- had to request
- The bed sheets were not replaced at all on our stay ( 1 week), this seemed very unhygienic to not change the sheets not even once.
