Thanks for lovely short break. Owner was charming and had great communication. Everything was as explained. Fire in the lounge kept the place warm and shutters on windows made sleep fantastic. The lift is right on your doorstep and town a 15 min walk. The resort was a bit quiet when we went but the great wine made up for it. Thanks again

Perfect location for our family ski holiday in Courmayeur. Warm and cozy chalet with a wood pellet fire heater. Lucia provided everything you need in this home which made cooking easy and relaxing for us. Our teenage daughters loved their space in the loft, but you need youth and agility to climb up there! Lucia gracefully accommodated our late arrival and was so helpful and kind during our stay. A pleasure to deal with such a nice person.

We had the pleasure of staying in this charming chalet over half term as a group of 2 families, and it's a real hidden gem. Despite arriving 2 hours later than planned, we were warmly greeted on arrival. It has a rustic, homely feel and is just a stone's throw from the Dalonne lift. This makes it ideal for young children to manage the walk (less than 5 mins). The pellet stove was really effective, and kept us warm and cosy. We took a slow cooker, which came in really handy as there isn't a cooker (although the microwave had a grill/oven setting). We stayed in the attic bedroom which has an en suite and is accessed via sturdy, pull down stairs. There's a double room, single room and small bunk bed room on the first floor along with a shower room. The owner is a lovely lady, and kept in good contact to make sure that everything was ok. The drive to the property is on an incline, and despite snow chains, we didn't manage to park outside, so had to park on the layby at the foot of the drive and carry our luggage up. This wasn't a problem though. All in all, a great chalet, and excellent value for money and we hope to stay there again.

La casa è persino meglio di come appare nella descrizione e nelle foto. È calda e accogliente. Noi siamo andati in gennaio durante un periodo di clima infelice, ma ce la siamo goduta comunque perché è a pochi passi dalla telecabina di Dolonne e vicinissima al favoloso centro sportivo dove si trovano pattinaggio, campi da tennis, arrampicata, SPA e molto altro. Inoltre a piedi in un quarto d’ora (sfruttando l’ascensore della telecabina) si arriva in centro a Courmayeur. Eravamo in 6 (due genitori e 4 ragazzi maggiorenni); la camera matrimoniale è ampia, può ospitare comodamente un terzo letto, affaccia sul bosco, su Courmayeur, che alla sera sembra un presepe di luci e, se è sereno, da una delle finestre si vede il Monte Bianco: avrei potuto passare le giornate lì a leggere e guardare il panorama..... (nella bella stagione ha anche un piacevole terrazzo). Poi c’è una camerretta che sarebbe singola, ma può diventare matrimoniale piccina; ed infine la stanzina col letto a castello, molto angusta; ma pur di sciare per qualche giorno le mie figlie dormirebbero anche in una scatola! Il Wi-Fi funziona benissimo. La salita che porta alla casa è breve ma ripida. Siccome aveva nevicato abbondantemente e si era formato un fondo di ghiaccio, al nostro arrivo non ce la siamo sentita di salire in auto. Si può posteggiare di fronte alla salita in un piccolo piazzale, oppure il posteggio coperto della telecabina è veramente vicinissimo, sebbene costoso. Per paura di scivolare sul ghiaccio abbiamo chiesto alla proprietaria (gentilissima) di attivarsi per far pulire la stradina: in mezz’ora è arrivata la ruspa del Comune che l’ha sgombrata dal ghiaccio! In casa e in cucina c’è tutto ciò che può servire durante il soggiorno. Infine Dolonne è un paesino delizioso, tutto in case di sasso, senza negozi e clamore, solo con due o tre bar e ristoranti.

We had a fantastic time at Lucia's chalet in Courmayeur. The house is right next to the funicular so it's so easy to get to the slopes. The place is very cozy, well-furnished, and has everything you need for a wonderful time. Communicating with Lucia was very easy and she did all she could to make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be staying here next time my family and I visit Courmayeur.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le charme de ce chalet familial. C'est très chaleureux et on se croirait chez nous. Ca change des locations dans les résidences des grands organismes. Super pratique pour le ski on est à 3 minutes du départ des oeufs. Le chalet est dans la forêt mais à 10 minutes à pied du centre de Courmayeur. De plus Lucia est très sympathique. La station de ski n'est pas très grande, mais c'est vraiment très très beau et il y a plein de choses à faire en dehors du ski. A recommander vivement.

We have come back from an incredible few days at Lucia's lovely chalet. We were two couples with 3 young kids and each of us found his own ideal place. The kids were free to play in the garden and in the little woods near by and when they got bored ( and the young ones soon do!) they could just walk 2 minutes across the street to the multi sport complex which offers tennis courts, ice skating etc.. they had a blast! Needless to say that whilst the kids were enjoying their holiday we could rest in the absolute peace of the chalet whilst being able to walk 5 minutes to all the commodities. We forgot the car in Lucia's parking space ( and thank god we had it beacuse we soon found out that it is an absolute must in Courmayeur!) and really enjoyed our walks to the local shops and nearby vallees. We are definetely coming back during the ski season when we can take even more advantage of such a perfect location, virtually skiing distance to the cable cars !! The apartment was very cosy and had all the necesitties we were expecting and would want in a holiday home. A place to come back to and that I really recommend.

Siamo appena tornati da qualche giorno trascorso in questa casa incantevole e luogo davvero suggestivo. La casa si trova in una posizione ideale in quanto e' privatamente locata in una stradina interna immersa nel verde ma a pochissimi minuti da tutte le comodita'. La casa e' equipaggiata di tutto il necessario per una vacanza in montagna, non e' una casa di super lusso ma e' nello spirito di un accogliente chalet di montagna. Fantastico anche che abbia il garage privato chiuso e ampio spazio circostante. Lucia e' molto comprensiva e disponibile e ha esaudito tutte le nostre richieste compresa la richiesta di arrivo davvero last minute. Ci torneremo prestissimo!
