This guest house was excellent. It is very well located, just a short walk from Jincheng Old Street, with plenty of food outlets and places of interest nearby. The owner is lovely and goes out of her way to ensure your stay is comfortable and that you don't want for anything. The room was large, with a very comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, and an excellent shower (super hot with great water pressure, just how I like it). The air conditioning worked well, and there was the added bonus of lots of stuffed animals throughout the property. After all, the place is called Baby Egg Guest House after her two young children, which gives it a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Even though breakfast is not provided, the owner generously supplies a huge selection of snacks, instant noodles, tea and coffee, soft drinks, hot & cold water, and sweets for guests to enjoy. The kitchen and dining area is a focal point, and I met the owner and her family there each day, along with other guests. It created a very friendly and homely atmosphere that made me feel more like a welcomed visitor than just another customer. The owner also kindly gave me a lift to the airport, and it was lovely that her daughter accompanied her to say farewell. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. In fact, I extended my stay by an extra night and would gladly stay here again should I return to Kinmen. Highly recommended.
