    We had a very pleasant stay here. The service was good, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and considerate. The place was comfortable and spacious, and the location was very convenient, with plenty of nice and delicious food options within walking distance. We originally booked a smaller room for 5 people. When we arrived, the front desk staff informed us that the room would be too small for 5 people and suggested upgrading to a bigger room for a small additional fee. Before we made our decision, they kindly brought us to see and compare both the room we booked and the recommended bigger room. We really appreciated this as it allowed us to make an informed decision, and we ended up choosing the bigger room for greater comfort. We also needed help booking tickets to Gulangyu as we did not have a China phone number. At first, the staff were hesitant because of complications they had experienced with previous customers. However, they eventually agreed to help us. They clearly explained that if we were late and missed the boat due to our own arrangements, the hotel would not be responsible and there would be no refund. We appreciated their transparency and willingness to help despite the extra complications. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and were grateful for the friendly and helpful service. Would be happy to stay here again!
