Very homely and cosy. Lots of lovely details. Exceptionally clean. Lovely welcome gift of wine and cookies.
Everything was perfect. Only thing I would change is having a washing machine

Chestnut Cottage was comfortable, clean and very convenient for exploring the area. The cottage was well equipped and tastefully decorated. We were lucky with the weather and were able to take advantage of the patio to sit out and enjoy the small garden. There was a good car parking space. Janet answered questions we had prior to our visit and quickly responded to a query we had during our stay.
A mirror I could use in the bathroom! It was too high for me! 😃 Besides that everything was perfect.

The village is incredible, walking distance from flatford a magical little bar and river. Janet is incredible and takes care of every detail. Easy access to motorway if you want to go into town.
