Sofia helped us in every possible way. Rooms are nice and clean, close to the center of Coimbra so it was easy for us to go back to the room during the warmest hours. Flexible check in time and it was possible to leave bags at the reception before the check-in and after the checkout. Must try the Taberna Portuguesa, just a few seconds walk from House Santa Clara

Very pleasant staff, simple yet elegant hotel interior, gorgeous bed linens, and excellent quality towels. The location is also excellent; we walked to the city center, there's free and secure parking nearby, a large supermarket, and lots of cafes and restaurants across the street.

An absolute gem in an area called Santa Clara just over the bridge from Coimbra. Such lovely staff (thank you Sofia for your help) run this charming Guest house with great beds, lots of hot water and a small kitchen where you can make a cup of tea or use the microwave. There are also fridges in each bedroom. Great cafes and restaurants close by and so much to explore in Coimbra

Convenient location just across the bridge from old town! Sofia was super helpful when we checked in. Lots of free parking nearby. Room had a fridge, shared space on main floor had a coffee maker as well as dishes and free apples.
