We very much enjoyed our stay at the Manor House. Our room was clean and roomy and had a comfy bed. Christine and Iona greeted us and provided lots of useful information for our stay in Stornaway. Location was convenient for exploring the island, but having a car is important in this part of Scotland. Breakfast was delicious, and Christine provided us with great to-go bags for our early departure for the Ullapool ferry. We very much recommend this B&B! Travel tips - don't miss the Butt of Lewis - sounds funny but these are awesome cliffs and lighthouse to check out. And, at least on Saturday, go to the restaurant An Taigh Ceilidh for their afternoon Scottish folk music jam session. It's a small group of musicians of various ages playing various instruments and speaking mostly gaelic, but they are very friendly and welcoming. Got that tip from our hosts and it worked out for us.

Comfortable, tidy, and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were generous and cooked to perfection. Dietary restrictions were cheerfully accommodated. The hosts were kind, considerate, accommodating, and hospitable.

The location was less than a ten minute walk to the town centre. The breakfast was very good and you could choose what you wanted for the following morning and also the time you wanted to eat (it was always served on time.)
I enjoyed my four night stay. For me everything was as hoped for and there was not anything that I could find fault with.

Large room with nice view out to a courtyard, the furnishings were great and there was a kettle for tea/coffee and cookies provided . Christie and Iona were so pleasant and welcoming; they treated me like family and gave me some wonderful tips on exploring. Iona especially was excited for my trip out to the Calanais Stones.
