Calm and Picturesque Chalet!

The chalet is located in the most picturesque area, and the host is gracious and kind. The drive to the chalets via Malmedy and the wind farm are truly beautiful. We would visit again in the future without a doubt.

The Internet isn't the best; it works, but it's slow. It would be nice to have a bigger mirror in the house, as there's only a basin mirror in the bathroom. The chalet is beautiful but tiny; it's good for a couple, but it might not be a good fit for a family or colleagues.

Nice getaway

Location is great, near the park and very peaceful. Owner is nice and helpful.

Beds were not very comfortable and one can only pay in cash (in 2025).

Amazing stay

The hosts were super friendly. They gave us quite a lot of insights on the area and around. Loved farm behind with horses and Alpacas. The owner even lent their binoculars to look at birds nearby. The chalet is pretty cozy and had good facilities.

The blankets and pillows had dog/animal hair on them and it felt a bit scratchy on the skin.

Exceptional

Udo and his wife were exceptional hosts...Udo gave us detailed info of the local area upon check in..he gave us binoculars and a book on the Vogelsong area...he frequently asked how we were doing and if everything was ok or if we needed anything...the chalet was modern and although we brought "everything but the kitchen sink" with us 🙂, the chalet was very well equipped with everything that was advertised! The chalet was very very clean...the neighborhood was super quiet and the people friendly... The location could not have been better...10-15 minutes from all major attractions! Udo made it a point to speak a little english and remember our names as well as our dog's name!! The perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!!!

We didn't like the fact that we did not stay longer!! We will book for the entire week for our next stay!

Winter Dream but could be warmer

Super close to the park 5min walk max! really cozy, tiny but had everything you need. helpful hosts also make stay nicer :) snow made the area and park look like winter wonderland. would definitely come back but rather in warmer period despite the stunning views in wi tee

Friendly for dogs but would have appreciate "house policy" (dogs not allowed is Couch or bed) to know in advance of arrival when announcing arrival with dog but it wasn't such an issue just missing information ALSO it doesn't warm up that fast so if it's snowy cold weather take warms socks and be ready to sleep in warm clothes it takes really long time until the house warms up but due to infrared heating on the walls the floor is really cold so take warm house shoes or many thick socks

Perfect place to relax and explore the nearby natural park

The small house offers everything we needed during our stay. We think it is a cosy house but has all the comfort you require. Schleiden is not very big but has some places to eat. The house is very close to the Dreiborner Hochfläche, ideal starting point for hiking, cycling or running. The owner lives closeby and it is easy to ask for help and advice. We received good recommendations.

Excellent stay very close to the Eifel National Park

The location was very good! Looked just like the photos. We could easily reach the forest and had a great view of the forest from the back of the property. There was a place to sit there. Excellent view. The owner also has alpacas and icelandic horses. It was great to sit with a book and enjoy the view and the place.

Everything was arranged well. Would have appreciated if some trash bags were provided in the property.

Tiny house with great facilities

The house itself is amazing. A tiny house but with all facilities you need. Location is superquiet and you walk in a few minutes in complete nature. The house is very clean and the owner very welcoming. Loved a morningcoffee here with the view and all nature around. Great for relaxing!

Almost nothing. If i have to mention something it is that in the Village itself are no facilities except a bakery. So to reach a restaurant or bar or supermarket you need a car

Tout! C’était vraiment un super joli cadre, gros bisous+ pour les alpagas et les chevaux 😍 les propriétaires ont été adorables et nous ont donné de super indications sur les lieux à visiter, le parc animalier était incroyable 🥰 c’était un super week-end, le logement était très confortable et bien équipé 😊merci!

Il manquait éventuellement un petit micro-ondes mais les taques de cuisson suffisaient.

hab mich in der ersten Sekunde ins Häuschen verliebt

Ich habe mich in der ersten Sekunde in das kleine Häuschen verliebt. Von meinem Schlafzimmerfenster hatte ich einen tollen Aussicht und konnte auch die Alpakas beobachten. Das Chalet ist sehr gut ausgestattet, mit allem was man braucht. Die Küche ist bisher die die an besten ausgestattet war von allen gemieteten Appartements die ich je hatte. Sie hatte sogar eine Spülmaschine. Ich hatte alles was ich brauche der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hat viele Tipps was man in der Umgebung machen kann oder wo man gut Essen kann. Man ist in wenigen Schritten im Eifel Nationalpark und braucht nur wenige Minuten um zum Tierbeobachtungspunkt zu kommen bei welchem man bei Dämmerung mit etwas Glück Rotwild, Hasen, Füchse oder Wildschweine beobachten kann. Nachts ist es so dunkel auf dem Anwesen das man die Sterne wunderbar beobachten kann. Es ist entspannt und ruhig dort genau der richtige Ort wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte. Ich wollte am liebsten gar nicht mehr nach Hause.

Menschen die sehr groß sind könnten Probleme mit der Deckenhöhe an manchen Stellen bekommen.

Eifel Auszeit

Gastgeber Udo hat uns sehr freundlich und offen empfangen und hatte viele hilfreiche Tipps parat, ob für Ausflüge oder Restaurants. Das Chalet ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht und liegt sehr nah am Nationalpark Eifel. Mit Alpakas und Ponys auf den umliegenden Wiesen kann man prima abschalten :)

Miejsce cudowne nie mam słów żeby to opisać przeżyłam siedem cudownych dni . Cisza, spokój , relaks, przyroda, naturalne wszystko co cię otacza, jeśli ktoś lubi spacery to nie ma lepszego miejsca, a jeśli chodzi o właściciela to do rany przyłożyć, uśmiechnięty, życzliwy. Domek lepszy niż 5 gwiazdkowy hotel, wszytko czyste pachnące, w drewnie zbudowane, w kuchni pelne wyposa,zmywarka itd. Ręczniki i pościel pachnącą czysta ,swierza beż obaw do używania!!!!Nic innego nie powiem jak tylko POLECAM NA 100 %ZADOWOLENIE

Super huisje met top locatie!

Leuke chalet, gelegen op 50m van het national park Eifel! Wij verbleven in huisje nr. 2 (uitzicht op alpacaweide)! Ideaal uitgangspunt voor mooie wandelingen. Veel wild gespot; konijn, edelherten, vos, wild zwijn en als kers op de taart 2 wolven! Tijdens regenachtige dagen is het plaatsje Bad Münstereifel erg leuk om te bezoeken (mooi historisch stadje met shoppingoutlet). Ook was gastheer Udo erg goed! Vriendelijk, veel tips en denkt goed mee. Staat ook altijd klaar mocht er iets zijn.

Eigenlijk was het een super vakantie! Leuk knus huisje van alle gemakken voorzien. Verwarming was ook super tijdens de wat koudere dagen. Badkamer had een upgrade gekregen, fijne douche. Als we dan toch 1 ding moeten noemen dan was het bed iets minder comfortabel dan thuis.

Fijne plek in de Eifel om eropuit te gaan

Geweldige lokatie, vlakbij een enorme wildkijkhut (elanden, vos, wilde kat, wolf gezien). Zie foto’s voor afstanden en hut. Wij zaten in huisje 3. Prima plek, veel privacy door groene wal en heg langs de weg. Heerlijke douche. Super leuk ontbijt/lunchrestaurant in dorp.

De meubels zijn eenvoudig, maar volop kussens en kleed om het comfortabel te maken. De accommodatie en vele restaurants in omgeving vragen contant af te rekenen. Dit zijn wij niet gewend, maar zorg dat je overal contant kunt betalen.

Top Häuschen für 2 Personen und Hund

Ein Tiny House, gut für 2 Personen, mehr sollten es nicht sein. Dafür kann man sich aber selbst versorgen, alles vorhanden, und optimale Lage für Wanderungen. Hunde sind auch willkommen. Vermieter geben gute Tipps für Ausflugsziele und zum Einkehren.

An ein 1,40 Bett muß man sich gewöhnen :)

Klein aber fein, richtig gemütlich. Der Besitzer sehr sehr freundlich und total cooler Typ 👌🏻

„Nicht gefallen“ schön wäre noch ein smart tv (für schlechtes Wetter am Abend) und perfekt wäre noch eine Sauna und/oder ein wirlpool 👌🏻🥰
