The owner is very kind and gives detailed recommendations on great places to eat in Salvador. They also share the latest information in a WhatsApp group, which is very helpful. The fresh juice served at breakfast is absolutely delicious.

It’s the best hostel in Salvador! The owner and the staff are wonderful people : welcoming, helpful and always there for you. The rooms are big, very comfortable, place is very clean and breakfast is amazing with homemade bread. Every day you will be informed about activities, restaurants and places you should see. Hostel is in the heart of old town and close to everything. You can meet other travellers and hang out but also you can have your quiet time and chill. Amazing place with the soul. Thank you for everything!

The area can feel unsafe when arriving late at night, but it becomes easier to navigate once you settle in the next day. This is not a criticism of the hostel, just a tip about the area. It is charming, but requires a little extra caution
