About this house rental
Beachy townhouse situated in highly desired Old Grove with ideal positioning between the main beach, shops and river. This townhouse won the Unit Development award in 2006 for the Bellarine area. All rooms have air conditioners
3 bedrooms upstairs and living areas downstairs. All bedrooms have separate air conditioning and wardrobes. 2 queen beds and 3 single beds (including one trundle). Main bedroom with large ensuite, walk in robe and TV.
Ground floor consists of open plan living, kitchen and dining with TV, CD/ DVD players and all kitchen appliances and utensils. Fully equipped laundry and 3rd toilet and direct access to lock up garage with space for 1 car (extra parking area outside garage).
Bifold doors lead to a private outdoor area with shade sail covered entertaining area with BBQ and outdoor shower. An outdoor setting for 8 and 2 sun lounges are set in a native garden.
Locality
Only 75 mins drive from Melb the property is in a fantastic location within 4 minutes (600m) WALK to the patrolled surf beach, river, golf course, bowls club and shops so you can leave your car in the garage!
Local attractions to keep everyone entertained in summer and winter include: seaside towns Queenscliffe, Point Lonsdale, Barwon Heads, Torquay (Bells Beach) and Lorne with fantastic shopping and dining. It's just a short drive to the scenic cliffs of the Great Ocean Road.
For the energetic holiday take a trip to Adventure Park, A'maze'n'Things and Adventure Mini Golf, or try some skydiving, horse riding, boating and fishing (boat ramp a 2 min drive away).
There are numerous walking and riding tracks near by. More relaxed entertainment can be found at local craft markets, nature reserves and wineries.

Had a nice stay, property is well cared for and comfortable. Jan's communication was easy going and helpful. Couple of light fittings need globe replacements - WIR in particular. Property had everything we needed for a few days of family and winter surfing fun, convenient to walk to the shops.

We loved our stay at this property. Communication was excellent, check-in was very easy, and the location is superb. The property is so well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a holiday.

I took my adult sons away for the weekend.
There were plenty of board games to play and we enjoyed playing these as we hadn't been away together at the beach, without other family, for decades.
There were instructions/recommendations to improve our stay in the local area

A wonderful property to spend a few days in. Hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating, with excellent communication. The location of the property was perfect, a short walk to the Main Street, river and beach. The house was very well equipped, with everything you could need and more. We will absolutely be back again to stay!
