This house in the heart of the medieval town of SARLAT, 20 minutes from Lascaux 4 and at the crossroads of all the most visited sites of Dordogne is ideally located on more than 1600 square meters of garden overlooking the roofs of the medieval city and close to the historic center, this farmhouse completely restored and tastefully decorated enjoys all the necessary comfort.

Wonderful stay at this very sweet home away from home in close proximity to the medieval town of Sarlat. Peaceful outdoor space at front of house for relaxing and eating. Very well appointed house with everything anyone would need. Sophie was lovely host, available, responsive and helpful when we contacted her with an issue. Very prompt to remedy a concern which was greatly appreciated. We had a lovely time.

We had a fantastic stay at Sophie's lovely house in Sarlat. The location is exactly as described, really close to the historic centre of town via an alleyway with steps, literally a 5 minute walk.
The house was perfect for us two adults with 15 & 13yr old boys, we felt completely at home for the two weeks that we stayed in Sarlat. The kitchen was really well equipped, and the washer/dryer new and efficient, with a drying rack provided so that we could get our kit washed and dried easily after each new adventure. It was lovely to have a choice of the decent-sized dining table or the equally well-sized outside patio table (with sun shade) for family meals. The blackout blinds on the upstairs velux windows were great for keeping any hot sun out in the day.
Sophie herself was was very friendly and helpful, coming to show us the way to the house when we arrived in Sarlat, and to give us a guided tour of the house. She was also really prompt and helpful answering any queries we had, as well as recommending places to eat, and letting us know when market days were - an excellent host, thank you for an amazing holiday!
