About this apartment rental
Gorran apartment is a cosy one bedroom apartment on the first floor of this historic Georgian Mansion. The lounge has stunning views over the east garden. There is a bedroom with king sized bed, lounge with dining area, kitchen and bathroom with shower over the bath.
You can relax on loungers around the outdoor pool which is available from May half term weekend to end August/early September; challenge each other to pool, air hockey or table tennis in the games barn or simply relax in one of the many secluded seating spots with a book and a glass of wine.
At the end of a busy day exploring, fire up the BBQ and dine Al Fresco and then after planning your next adventure, snuggle down in a comfy bed.
We have an EV charger
Our peaceful village has a community run shop ( open morning only) within walking distance, opportunity for an evening drink at The Tipsy Cow and a historic pub, The Punchbowl Inn which serves food daily. The Tipsy cow offers delicious burgers on Thursday evening.
There is so much to do locally. We are only 6 miles from Looe and Polperro and 5 miles from the coast. There are woodland and coastal walks, the south west coast path and myriad beaches and coves to explore. National Trust properties are well represented, with Lanhydrock, Cotehele, Anthony and Saltram being some of my favourites. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are easy to reach and highly recommended. Horse riding, golf, and watersports are all available locally. A week is never enough!

Lovely old character property ( which does give rise to some issues ) in a very quiet location so a car is essential, but a great place to explore the south coast of Cornwall from. Looe, Polperro and Fowey are all great nearby excursions and we walked some of the coastal path which is stunning! The apartment has everything you need and the welcome pack Chris and Julie left was very useful. The lovely gardens are a great place to sit and read a book or sip a glass of wine and the views are beautiful. There's even a barbecue you can use if you wish.
