The best place for families

This was the best place I’ve been in a while. Amazing for the kids with lots of activities, many space to play outside and the family is so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place to visit again.

Lovely place, a great opportunity to enjoy the farm experience

The hosts are kind and welcoming, the farm is beautiful and the kids was playing for hours at the playground, feed the cows, ponies and porks. The apartments are fully equipped so we could cook and use the BBQ facilities in the yard.

The 5 persons apartment is on the 2nd floor so the luggage transport is a bit hard. I'll have to note that Christian, the host, helped us with that. Some of the windows didn't have mosquitoes nets so they must be closed over night.

Absolutely amazing, the hosts are great!

The place itself is absolutely great and is a heaven for kids. The farm just out of the door with animals and the abundance of toys for kids to play is really over the top.

Amazing Farm Holiday with the Huber family!

The 400 year old family farm and facility is well kept and tidy. The family are amazingly friendly and helpful and easy to access. I was there with 2 of my daughters, ages 14 and 28. With so many farms available in Austria, we were fortunate to find this one for our first farm holiday. We enjoyed our few days there immensely and recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing get away from city life. Though we had booked two days, we added another day and extended our stay. The scenery is beautiful and there are many nearby towns that one can drive to and enjoy the day. We went to St Johann im Pongau (28 min drive), Villach (80 mins) and several others. We also drove to an 11th century Roman castle/ fort (45 min drive) - Burg Werfen. Rooms were clean and tidy and spacious and very well equipped. Slept quite well. Though we didn't try it, the sauna within our apartment, is a nice touch. Our apartment can easily accommodate six. The Huber family are amazing in all respects. They advice on activities on the farm as well as other things to do nearby. They are easily accessible since the rooms are in the same building they live in. Breakfast which is offered at the farm, at extra charge, is very good and wholesome, specially the eggs and milk. Restaurant options are limited but we found a place we liked in nearby St. Johann im Pongau - Black Sea Imbiss where we went whenever we needed to. Shopping street is walking distance (1 Km away) and groceries etc are easily available. The farm is small but fun if you like playing with and feeding animals. Farm activities can be arranged with the family. The llama, goats, farm cats, rabbits etc all all fun to feed and play with. There is a Therme Spa nearby, as well as tennis facilities. In the summer more activities, such as fishing, are available at the farm. Horse riding, though we did not try, is available on the neighboring farm. Bicycles, table tennis, small pool, swings, trampoline all available on site.

These are not really dislikes as much as possible enhancements: Soap and tissue being available in the facility on initial arrival would be nice. Restaurant options are very limited but you can drive to nearby towns. We recommend Black Sea Imbiss in nearby St. Johann im Pongau, a quaint town nearby that is definitely worth a visit (28 min drive). Lack of air conditioning in the summer could be an issue for some.

Had potential to be a good vacation, but lack of maintanance prevented it

The owners were smiling and nice (although not helpful in solving the problems with the apartment)

The internet is not working, and disconnects every 3-4 minutes causing loss of work, inability to watch streaming TV or even send WhatsApp messages. Despite the smiles and kindness of the host, she did not do enough to solve the problem. The playing room for the kids is closed and the owner said we could only use it with in her presence and suggested a playground in the next town, although this was the primary reason for selecting this place. Toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, shower soap - were insufficient.

Wonderful place to stay! Christian und Rosemarie are absolutely great hosts, kids were very happy to feed cows and play with ponies and rabbits. A lot of bicycles are available for a ride, also equipped with bike child seat. The apartment was equipped Infrared sauna and it was very handy after a day spent in mountains walk, a must-have thing after ski/snowboarding day. Absolutely recommend for stay with kids!

It is a very good accommodation for travel with children. The children were very happy to milk cows, collect eggs from the henhouse, and feed rabbits and cats and chickens. The children were very disappointed to leave here. The host was very generous and kind. I am very grateful for taking care of children and explaining the animals in detail to them. The accommodation was also convenient and very clean. Simple cooking was also possible and it was warm. The accommodation has a nice view, the air is refreshing and calm, and the location is convenient. There are several ski resorts in close proximity, and tourist attractions where children can enjoy are also located in relatively close proximity. I'd like to visit again later.

Beautiful farm stay, don't hesitate to stay here!

Fabulous farm stay with lovely hosts. Beautiful property and so many activities for the kids, who particularly loved helping with the cows each day. Highly recommend and we will definitely return to this special place.

Our choice of a two bedroom apartment for two families (each with 2 kids) was a bit cozy, but we knew that in advance. However, next time we would probably just opt to book two separate apartments.

Familienurlaub mit Kleinkindern

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern (1 und 3 Jahre) für 4 Nächte auf dem Bauernhof der Familie Huber und haben es sehr genossen! Die Kinder dürfen mit allen Tieren (Hühner, Katzen, Hasen, Ponys, Kühe, Ziegen, Lama...) interagieren, beim täglichen Stallgehen mithelfen und und und Außerdem gibt es viele Spielgeräte (Rutsche, Schaukel, Sandkasten, Trampolin...) eine Hütte für Indoorspiele und alle möglichen Kinder-Fahrzeuge (Bobycar, Go-kart, Fahrräder...). Weiters gibt es draußen Grillmöglichkeiten und unser Apartment war schön, sehr sauber und geräumig. In der Nähe gibt es viele kindgerechte Wanderwege und eine Therme. Rosemarie, ihr Mann Christian und die Kinder sind sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Sie nehmen sich viel Zeit für ihre Gäste und haben sichtlich Freude am Umgang mit Menschen. Danke! Wir kommen wieder

Die Übernachtung im wundervollen, liebevoll eingerichteten Appartement war einfach perfekt! Vom ersten Moment an fühlte wir uns wie zu Hause. Das Appartement ist gemütlich und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts – alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und einladend, ideal für entspannte Tage. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man merkt sofort, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste am Herzen liegt. Ich kann dieses Appartement nur wärmstens empfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen! Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft.
