About this apartment rental

We are located in the gated complex of Vista Waikoloa on the fourth green of the Waikoloa beach golf course. The course is a twenty seven hole layout, kings nine, lakes nine and beach nine. One of the advantages of renting this unit is the discount on golf. As a guest that is interested in playing golf, you will be able to use our membership at the Waikoloa golf club for a sizable discount on going rate plus prime time T-times. The condo has 2 bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, great room with large cable TV. Expansive Lanai wraps around the condo with impressive views of the golf course and Mauna Kea, that has the worlds largest astronomical observatory. The condo is equipped with WIFI, 2 cable TV’s and telephone (calls to Canada free). and free parking. ( Assigned parking spot ) 25 minutes from Kailua-Kona Airport.

Great room is very comfortable with plenty of seating to enjoy your stay. Play games at the dining room table with our games here, or the favorites you have brought. Enjoy a home cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or take a short walk to one of the many restaurants in the King or Queens Court shopping area. The master bedroom has a cozy cal king size bed with on-suite bathroom, double sinks and very large walk in shower. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and can be open to the great room or closed off to create a private bedroom with second bath next door. We also have a double blow up bed in the master closet that can be used in any room. Relax on the wrap around lanai while enjoying the tropical sounds of the warm breeze and tropical birds.

Take a short walk to Anaeho’omazlu Beach (A-Bay) and enjoy a day of surf and sand. After a day in the sun, cool off with a refreshing drink at the Lava Lava Beach Club and listen local artists playing for the restaurant guests. Beach gear can be found in the closet on the condo lanai for guest use.

Absolutely perfect stay! Location is an easy launching pad for resort area beaches, and not far from exploring other parts of Kona. The condo is incredibly thoughtfully furnished - kitchen, beach gear, comfortable furniture, beautiful lanai view all made our trip unforgettable. The unit was spotlessly clean, and Terry was a very responsive host when we had a few minor questions that weren’t covered in the materials available in the condo. Wonderful stay, and we hope to return soon!

Property was immaculate, it was very warm and welcoming upon our arrival. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and the towels were soooo soft. Communication with the owners was easy and all questions were answered in a timely manner. The double lani with the loungers/chairs and patio table were all very comfortable!

We loved staying in this luxurious and spacious ground floor condo. It faces Mauna Kea on the golf course and the sunrises are stunning. The unit has a lovely Hawaiian theme and the linens and towels are high quality. The kitchen is well equipped and includes many staples. The owner’s attention to detail helps create a relaxing and fulfilling vacation.

Wonderful ten days in paradise. The condo has everything you need and more. Very quiet and peaceful right on the Lakes golf course of Waikoloa. Owner is very nice and helped with questions we had immediately. We will return to this unit in the future. Mahalo!

We have stayed in numerous VRBO rentals, but this was the cleanest and most comfortable one we have stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed, with high quality appliances & glassware. The bed was super comfortable, as was the living room furniture. We appreciated the welcoming gift upon arrival and the owners were highly responsive. We appreciated them accommodating a pre-arrival request we made of them, and it's clear that they take great care to make the stay enjoyable for guests. We enjoyed the view from the lanai and took full advantage of the lovely pool and gym. Had two great meals at the adjacent restaurant/bar - Tropic Ale House, and the Lava Lave Beach Club was also fun and walkable. Couldn't recommend this place more. Hope to come back soon!

What a wonderful place to stay! We loved being able to walk out and watch the golfers go by. This unit is very spacious and has everything you need in the kitchen! The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and found a close place to park to bring our gear! Highly recommend!

We loved staying at this property for our first family vacation to Hawaii. It was very well maintained and clean when we arrived. It had all the essentials we needed for our week long trip. The hosts, Terry and Nancy, have designed an exceptionally well-furnished condo with a great kitchen, excellent beds and baths, tasteful decor, a relaxing lanai, and an extensive collection beach gear (fins, snorkels, etc.). We have vacationed in this area many times. This was the best condo we’ve had. Clean, quiet, beautiful views of the sunrise over the mountain, close to the ocean & walking distance to the shopping areas. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was well supplied with all the equipment we would need. The pool is an unheated lap pool, so we didn’t spend much time there. We were so happy with our stay and had a wonderful time! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed 53 days in Vista Waikoloa and return in May 2024 for 61 days. This condo is very comfortable for daily living. The beds and furniture are excellent. The condo view is epic. Walk to shops and beach in 10 minutes. We scuba dive with Blue Wilderness of Puako. Twice each week we do the morning 2 tank boat trip. We also go to Wednesday and Saturday Farmer markets in Waimea. Our first trip to Waikoloa was 1993. Thirty years have passed and the area continues to provide an excellent Hawaii lifestyle. See you at Lava Lava Beach club for fish tacos and wonderful view. The whales were jumping in late November. Keep Smiling Steve

Our family of 4 just returned from a wonderful stay in this Vista Waikoloa condo. The condo was very well maintained and well stocked. We appreciated all of the kitchen items (including tupperware) as well as the access to beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards, etc. All the small things were attended to and we even got a text during our stay from the owners about some local entertainment happening that our kids really enjoyed. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Terry and his wife are great hosts! Before we even got off the plane, we received a text, welcoming us and to say we could check into the condo early. Terry also mentioned there was an issue with the A/C and gave detailed instructions on what to do and that he would follow up later. We found the condo easily, with the detailed instructions given to us. There was a nice welcome note as well as a package of Kona coffee, waiting for us. The condo was perfect, very spacious, large windows with great views, really neat and clean, well-supplied with everything one needs while on vacation. Their binder was thought out, with lots of information regarding the condo, to suggestions ranging from restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and activities to do. The location was great as it was an easy walk to the King’s and Queen’s market and “A” Beach. Terry and Nancy are awesome hosts to deal with. We appreciated their attention to detail and encouraging us to contact them if we needed anything. We would love to come back, to your condo and have a relaxing, worry-free vacation, in paradise. The place was comfortable. Nice size and well equipped with all you need. We enjoyed our stay with one exception. Lack of control of the air conditioning made it a bit warm during the day and evening as the thermostat was locked at 76 F. It was set to 73 F at night which was on the verge of being warm as well.

Fantastic stay in the (hands down) most wonderfully appointed condo at which we have ever stayed. The attention to detail was outstanding. Location was great; we absolutely loved the location. My only constructive comment is that we were not able to control the A/C. We found this a bit frustrating as we were uncomfortably hot most days and nights. We asked the host if the temp could be reduced and it was (by a couple of degrees), but we would have preferred it cooler. We run hot, so maybe this wouldn't be an issue for all folks.

We cant say enough about the condo. There was more than enough room for rhe two of us. It would be perfect for 2 couples or a family. Very quiet, clean with great ammenities. There is a coastal walking trail nearby, starts near ponds and goes out to the sea. Nice swimming and snorkelong areas nearby. If you’d like to catch a sports game the Tropic Ale House is just around the corner. Its approximarely a 15 minute walk to the main beach near Lava Lava Club. within walking distance to the Marriott which was very convenient for us to visit our family who was staying there and enjoy their accomodations and activities. Great communication with the host. We would difinitely recommend renting the condo!!!

This condo is in a wonderful location. Walkable to shopping and plenty of restaurants. You can even walk to a close by beach or a short drive if you’d rather. The condo had everything we needed and more. We loved our view of the sunrise every morning! Terry and Nancy made sure we had all of the information we needed, checking in with us on our day of arrival and were quick to respond when we had a question. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Family of 4 stayed in the condo for 7 days. It was the perfect launchpad for our big Island adventure. The condo is well maintained with lovely decor. The indoor and outdoor spaces were great and the location is amazing. Walking distance to A-Bay and a short drive to the most gorgeous beaches. Coffee, groceries, shave ice and restaurants all a short walk. It's about 40mins from Kona, 30 to Waimea and a little over an hour to Hilo. We will definitely look to stay here again the next time we visit the island.

This condo is amazing - spacious, clean, and inviting. The furnishings were comfortable, appliances and housewares plentiful and top of the line. Beach accessories were so appreciated! The location was great (north of Kona so a car is recommended), but close to lots of activities and includes a parking spot. The condo pool and grill area are beautiful and never overly busy. The Big Island is really under-rated. It is gorgeous, and not as "touristy" as Maui or Oahu. Terry and Nancy were so accommodating. We LOVED our stay and hope to return again soon.

After waiting for 2 years to return to Kona of course due to Covid we arrived and found our Condo even nicer than what the pictures showed. We appreciate the condo owners and their attention to detail. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.
