What a wonderful stay at Appartement Mistral! It was the perfect location for exploring this fascinating little city, and it was quiet and very comfortable when “at home”. We especially appreciated having an early check-in during the heat wave. As two older travellers with heavy backpacks, it was really nice to get in as soon as we arrived in Carcassonne. The hosts were extremely kind and prompt in our correspondence. Also, it was cool to see the citadel in all its moods from every window, morning till night!
Of course air conditioning would have been welcome in these mid-30s temps, but at least there was a fan and large windows to open to the breezes in the evening.

A wonderful small apartment for two - with great location and access to city center. Very clean and well equipped.
A bit difficult to find....Google Maps did not take us to correct location with address provided.

the bed is too low for someone with mobility problems it’s hard to use I have arthritis in my knees and found it awkward, and the apartment is not easy to find
