    Tip who checked us in is amazing! He went above and beyond and made our stay amazing by assigning us a unit close to the pool. What an unforgettable exprerience with perfectly clean apartment, generous amenities and fantastic location! We will be back next year! highly recommend Spencer street apartment!!     We arrived early after a flight and requested the hotel hold our luggage until check in. The front desk offered us an upgrade from our deluxe apartment to an "executive" department for *** extra which was ready to check into immediately. We accepted. Upon entering the ***, we were met with filth. Dirty handmarks on all light switches, walls, kitchen overheads were greasy, the bathroom looked like it had snot swiped on walls, yellow urine stains on the tiles at the base of the toilet and a distinct cigarette smell with butts still left out on the balcony, despite us requesting a non smoking room. The sheets looked clean overall, however at least 3 hairs were in each bed. The entire unit looked like it needed repairs and maintenance with damaged flooring and marks on all walls. We immediately left and went down to reception to request a refund. They refused and offered to move us back to our original room, which was declined as if that was what the "upgrade" was, we weren't hanging around for a lesser room. Management was not accommodating at all, and also refused our offer to pay one night's accomodation so that we could afford the new hotel. I have never even thought about leaving a hotel ever before and unfortunately this has been the worst experience I have ever had. Stay away.
