Yuzhou Garden B&B

New, clean and generally nice building with a small grass patch. Super nice owner.

Google maps have problems with it’s address, had to call owner to get better directions. Not a problem of the place, just google maps bugging as usual.

As my and I was touring around Taiwan it was very convenient and relatively easy to access coming from the south. Nice garden and facilities and parking next to the B&B. Hospitality was great and dogs are welcome, relevant for us.

It is remote from the city center, we was aware of that so we had prepared a for a picnic (wine, fruit, cheese, chicken etc) and and there was table and chairs so we enjoyed it anyway, No breakfast, so we had prepared and bought yoghurt, bread, coffee etc the day before.

The host Mrs You, is a very nice and friendly lady who would go out of her way to make sure we feel at home. They even provide transport to and from Taitung train station if you request. Mrs You made a very good Taiwanese porridge breakfast for us, really comfort food. They also happen to keep a farm next to the Minsu. And Mrs You would make juice every morning from the fruit they grow on the farm. Those with keen interest in organic farming will want to pick up a thing or two from them during your stay there. All in all, I would say we have enjoyed the Minsu. Those who are looking for something different, say a Minsu next to a farm, will find this place interesting.
