A disappointing experience in a dirty apartment where we didn’t feel welcomed and the facilities advertised weren’t act

The views from the balcony were stunning.

The property was dirty and needs a very deep clean - the bathrooms were disgusting (mould, toothpaste spray, toilets never seen bleach, showers didn’t drain etc.). The kitchen units had fingerprints all over them and the cooker hood a deep layer of oil and dust. The sofa had a throw on it - having sat on the sofa, both my daughter and I got itchy - as it turns out, sofa covered in animal hair and other detritus in all the button holes. Shelves and skirting boards very dusty. 3 towels for 4 of us - no hand towels and they were very worn and tough. No spare toilet roll so we ran out and had to use our own. Bed linen was ancient, worn and bobbly and not matching. Actually uncomfortable. Air con is only in the living room so bedrooms were unbearably hot. Apartment could be made to be really nice and welcoming but was utterly characterless and unwelcoming. No mirrors in bedrooms or bedside tables in one bedroom. Host responded to emails. However the bikes that were promised weren’t available (seemed to be two available but we were a family of four) and as the host didn’t appear we didn’t know what we could use or not. Apartment offers outside eating space, BBQ etc. but they’re shared spaces and since host wasn’t around, impossible to tell what you could use. Absolutely no information in the apartment - nothing about the island, eateries, transport. Turns out that there is no public bus service (never visited anywhere before that has no bus service) so entirely dependent on taxis which was expensive. That fact should be made clear on the accommodation description so we felt misled. I have photos of the poor cleanliness.

The apartment was not cleaned as it should be. We had to wash all the dishes before we used it. Tlors were not cleaned. We were really disappointed when we saw how dirty it is.

We were delighted by the iron and coffee machine, the house, and the environment which is beautiful and full of Mediterranean plants. Internet very good even the host offered us 2 wi fi routers. Great value for money.

Good location, nice views but tatty and rusty apartment

- Very spacious apartment, - Additional equipment such as place for barbecue, bikes etc., - Seaview and location.

- Very tatty furniture, - Rusty cookware, - Poor air conditioning (had to work for many hours to lower the temperature of whole apartment, - Comforter without linen - had to do it with own fair hands, - Slow internet and poor signal in some parts of the apartment, - Hot-water heater was not turned on our arrival and lack of such information to do it ourselves on the first day, - Lack of some equipment which were listed as available: • Coffee machine, • Tea/Coffee maker, • Iron, • Ironing facilities, • Carpet, • Socket near the bed - only one near the door (good thing we took extension lead), • Electric kettle (had to boil water in small pots), • Air purifiers. To summarize apartment looks gorgeous in pictures, but reality was a bit different - almost like it was took 5 years ago, and nothing was renovated or renewed.

Modern, spacious and functional apartment at a peaceful part of the island, with a great view!

Very spacious apartment, clean and well equipped. Nice view of the sea from the terrace, and nice garden-side balcony for chilling out or breakfast. There was a common washing machine we could use, also bikes and a SUP board, which we found awesome! The bed is super large and comfortable. I have no doubt I will come back here when coming to Korčula again!

Internet access was a bit unreliable, so if you plan on working it is a bit risky. For standard stuff like messages and some viber/whatsapp calls it's usually ok enough.

Exceptional

The app is suitable for family with children. It was very clean and had everything that is needed. Nearest beach is 2 minutes walking distance. The sea is beautiful there. This place is perfect if you are looking for peaceful vacation. Location of the apartment is great, you can reach Korcula town and Lumbarda with car in 5 minutes. I would recommend this place if you need peace, but also you can reach easily content that involve museums, restaurants, bars, etc

V podstatě nemohu nic vytknout. Líbilo se nám tu. Klidné místo, potřebné vybavení.

Ubytování splnilo naše očekávání - odpovídalo fotkám, vybavení bylo v pořádku. Pláž ve velmi blízké vzdálenosti, tiché okolí. Pan majitel byl milý.

Od historického centra je ubytování vzdálené - nutno dojet autem. Jeden z pokojů byl tmavý, jelikož před oknem bylo naskládané dřevo.
