Perfect location, but uncomfortable reservation

Central location Enough space

We booked 2 months in advance due to high season for a lower price. The owner asked us to cancel our reservation due to some excuse (broken sewer) which was not truth. We found the apartment for double our price in the days around our reservation so I guess that is why they wanted us to cancel our reservation.

NO TV, be warned....

Location excellent ,clean place ,air conditioning worked ,quiet fridge ( for once )....good price .

NO TV, not impressed- if I found out earlier WOULD have changed booking . Also rained over nite heard druming noise from out side window and tapping from above drain pipe in toilet early am . Hot water tank limited time use compered to others .evening is noisy as restaurant Marko polo right out side frount door / be warned....

Great location but with lack of hospitality and cleanliness

The location was really great, in the old city, right in the centre. The old traditional house is a part of the old town, so we could feel the atmosphere of traditional living in the old town.

The owner told us she will meet us when we come, but she didn't. Having no details we didn't know on wich floor was our appartment so we had to call her. After that we had to call again before leaving to ask how and where to pay for the stay. She didn't ask us how was our stay at all. The appartment was not really clean, we could find dust in corners, hair on sofa bed and there were dark blue floor mats in the shower and before it so they gave us impression it was not clean nor safe to have a shower there. There was no proper mirror in the appartment, the two of them were put too high and on wrong places..There was no cotton cloth in the kitchen nor dish strainer. The kitchen and the toilet looked like they needed restoration and sofa looked like it needed deep cleaning. Actually, it doesn't need much effort nor money to make the difference and cleanliness should be on the first place.. with no dark blue towels or mats for camouflage. It is not nice.

We enjoyed exploring the island from here.

The apartment is literally in the middle of the old town – it's a perfect place to stay if you want to experience the historic vibe and be close to everything. Event the beaches are close, as you can swim almost anywhere in Korčula. The apartment is a studio, but rather spacious, and well equipped. The hosts were really friendly and helpful – we even got a ride to our car that was parked a little bit outside the town.

I can't really think of any serious flaws, but it would be great if there were more dishes and cuttlery.

Exceptional

The little terrace gives you an incredible view to the sea (and sunrise if you get up early enough). The flat is right in the middle of the old town and very close to everything. The kitchen has the essentials if you plan to cook. Communication was easy.

Nothing. Guests should know about the narrow staircase and that the church bell ringing early in the morning but it was the old town charm and part of the authentic experience!

Appartement au 4e étage avec escalier très étroit et périlleux. Appartement poussiéreux et mal entretenu et peu équipé. Salle de bain très difficile d’usage ( position très courbée pour prendre la douche, absence de petit miroir (rasage difficile)…
